Chicken curry is most delicious food of India | PERSONAL LETTER | Date= September/25/2011 Dear parents, I am in Delhi and whether is hot and humid. Delhi is capital city of India. This place is so polluted and dirty. They are trash all over the street and they are so much traffic but strange thing is there is no traffic light. Today I try to cross the street or road and one of the cars almost hit me. I was scared to death. I went clubbing with my friends and good thing is there is no age limit in India to enter the club. I enjoy a lot. After that we went to hostel of one of my friend and they told me never go clubbing alone because they is a lot of boys in Delhi and they is a lot of rape case in here. So, I feel like Delhi is really dangerous place for girls if they are new here. Always have to be with the friends. Anyhow this much for today and will see you soon. With love, Tenzin Dolkar

12: PERSONAL LETTER. | Date= December/17/2011 Dear Parents, I am in Dharamsala(India) and I am going to school here. My school name is Lower TCV. Its so cold in Dharamsala. My school is so small and where I live, there are only two rooms and each room there is 20 people. We have one bed each and small cupboard where I can't fit my all cloths. All the bed are too close and its smell so bad in room. We have to get up at 5:30 a.m and we have only half hours to fresh up and wear our uniforms. After that we have to go to one big hall and we have prayed for half hours. I slept during praying time and there is one teacher who about to hit me but I said that I am new student here and he said it's my first warning. This school is completely opposite compared to my school in USA. In school teacher beat the student when we don't do home work at time. I got a lot friend and they are so nice to me but I don't like the school because school is so small and facility is so poor. I am so cold because they are no heater or anything in home or my room. Whether is so freaking cold and its raining a lot. At least I have warm clothes to wear but some of my friend has no warm clothes to wear. They are a lot of people came from Tibet and are orphan and they don't have money to buy clothes. They wear what our school head give them to wear. In class, people are too shy to answer the question. I was the only one giving answer to teacher. My friend said they are shy to give answer because if answer is wrong they get embarrassed. Some bad thing I noticed is people in India make fun of other people so much that everybody gets scared to do something alone because of fear of people making of that person. Second thing is teacher beat the student so badly if student don't do home work and argue with a teacher. They are no right to do speak against the teacher in India. I think this is enough for today and will write you next letter soon. With love, Your daughter, Tenzin dolkar.

13: PERSONAL LETTER | Date= April/17/2011 Dear Parents, I went to 10 days summer vacation to grandmother house and it was so much fun and I get to see a lot of Indian culture and etc. During my summer vacation I went to Chennai which is south of Indian. The Weather is totally different than Dharamsala which is located in north of India. I went to tour around the Chennai by tour bus and many of my friends from school told me not to go alone because you are girl and it's not safe. So I took the tour bus and there is a lot of tourist in that bus so, I was little relief. After touring around all day finally bus stop at one Dhaba which means restaurant and we all seat on one table and they serve our dinner on Banana leaves which is amazing. They told us we have to eat from right clean hand. After meal we went back to bus and went back to grandmother house. Around 10p.m I heard a noise shouting and I went to see what going on. There was funeral house far back of our house and I went to see what's going on? When I reached their people are forcing women to jump in fire then I asked someone and he told me after husband death, his wife have to jump in the fire with him. I was so shocked that caste system still exit in Indian and I was so disappointed. At some part of India they are still caste system exit. So my summer vacation ends by touring around the south of Indian. Now I am back to school and will write you a letter soon. With love, Your daughter, Tenzin Dolkar

After Shah Jahan’s death in 1666 A.D., he too was laid to rest beside his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. Their real tombs are in a basement of the Taj Mahal.
