FC: Miss Whitehead Student Teaching Fall 2011 | Mrs. Taylor's Class Autistic Support K-1 | Williams Township Elementary School
The students are a teacher's treasure.
 CIRCLE TIME
When I started, I would have to say Good Morning to every student. Now, Gia and Alex will say Good Morning to me first on their own.
Interactive Bulletin Board and Learning Center
Rasheed worked on the interactive bulletin board for independent work during work stations. Now, he can successfully count sets up to 5 using one-to-one correspondence.
 Recess on the Playground
The playground is a great place for students to interact with one another. It encourages social interaction between all the students in a fun and natural setting.
During work stations, we work on each student's individual goals. Probe data is collected at every session. When the students master a goal, we add new goals to their plans. | Work Stations
Sometimes, work stations take place on the floor. Edibles are always used during work stations as reinforcers.
 Lunch Time
When I started, the students were very dependent on staff members at lunch time. Now, the students are able to set the table, eat, and clean up their area by themselves. Yahve even learned to properly use utensils when eating.
