1: Jeffrey loved reading and also taught a good friend of his how to read. | One of Jeffrey's many talents is untying knots. This has even gotten him popularity in East Side and free pizza for a year.
2: In the setting of this book segregation was a big deal in the time of the book but Jeffrey didn't look at race he saw all people equal. | Jeffrey never really had a place he could call home and was like a nomad by always moving and searching for food.
3: Jeffrey is a very caring person. Many times in the book you see him getting a great care for a person or people for their actions. | Jeffrey is a very good at all types of sports and he is usually running when people see him.
4: Jeffrey was a very hard worker. He always was willing to help another person. | No matter what the case is, Jeffrey always had a positive reply or response to no matter what other people had to say to him.
5: This picture shows how Jeffrey is very friendly with everybody he talks to no matter what color their skin is or how they act towards him. | As a child, Jeffrey lost both his parents in a trolley accident and he became an orphan.
6: Jeffrey is fearless by how he would do things many of the other kids wouldn't ever do. This also gave him the nickname "Maniac" which made him popular in the town. | Jeffrey is strong hearted like a lion because he doesn't let other people put him down because the color of his skin and his actions.
7: Jeffrey always wanted a place he could call home like an address and paints the numbers 101 on the door of the one man's house he lived at.
8: Jeffrey lived in the zoo with the bison since he couldn't find a place to call home. He would refer to the mother bison as his Mom.
9: Jeffrey had to deal with a lot of racism and segregation when he was living with the Beale's who were black and he was white.
