Thank You Marina. You will be Missed. | Marina thanks for two wonderful years you are a wonderful teacher. You were really good with chris. You are indeed my favorite teacher. Good luck and best wishes. With Love, Wynnette ____________________ Dear Marina, I couldn't imagine the thought of you retiring and depriving all of the kids of a good education. But it is okay because the kids that you have taught and i speak for everyone will take away the memories that you have presented to them. I couldn't possibly ask for a more amazing time while i was with you and i want to thank you. You will be missed but not forgotten. Chris Riddick
Thank you Marina for making me who I am today...by givimg me the tools to learn. and starting me on my way. Daniel | Dear Marina - This school has had so much more spirit, attitude and fun because of you... Alexander
I remember when i was in second grade i would walk up these steps and think,"Yay we have science with marina today!!!!! She's going to show us the evolved crystals!!", THEN i got to fourth grade, and it was like that everyday. It made me love going to school, that's what makes you the best teacher i've ever had. I think that our class was a very lucky class to have had you as a teacher for the fourth and fifth grades,I think it really helped us all get along and understand each other better. All in all i hope YOU have a great time in the years to come, (and that you take a vacation...) because you deserve it!!
 Much love, Friso

Dear Marina, thank you for your optimism, love of teaching and your patience. It probably wasn't easy teaching me, a kid who was convinced he knew everything. But your attitude and knowledge made my final years in elementary school the best. Love, John
Dear Marina, You made learning fun. And you helped me believe in myself. I'll never forget that. -Ella | Marina, Having you as Ella's 5th grade teacher made the PS150 experience perfect! 24: "I am not a teacher but an awakener." —Robert Frost | As an elementary school teacher, you have been the mason for the foundations of entire educational careers. Thank you for sculpting my foundations with such dedication and care and enabling them, today, to support the turrets, cascading archways, and frescoed domes that are my successes and endless possibilities. Love, Emma Biegacki
I was suprprised yet happy when Marina went from my science to second grade to fourth grade teacher. I loved when she didn't give any homework on Fridays. -- Elena Petti | Marina would always make school enjoyable by letting us make our own choices. -- Matthew Petti
On many occasions over the past six years I have had the opportunity to work with Marina and her students on both special enrichment residencies and the Arts Festival performance. I have always been impressed with Marina's insightful, caring and encouraging approach, and the unique and loving way she demands and expects the very best from each of her students. Some of my favorite memories of Marina in action have been during the Arts Festival performance when her class is on stage and she is in the wings gesturing wildly to her students to spur them on.. | But my favorite memory to date was a few weeks ago when I happened to be working in the music room while Marina was rehearsing the 5th graders for their ballroom competition. She was directing them to dip down low, show their grace and poise, swing their hips, hold their heads up high and get into the groove of the music all the while demonstrating the ballroom moves quite perfectly herself. She has become quite the ballroom dancer and teacher over theyears. Maybe we will be seeing Marina in her next career on "So You Think You Can Dance?
