2: This is a story that starts on November 10th, 1483. On this bright Eisleben, German day Martin Luther was born. But soon after his birth his father was offered a job in Mansfeld, Gemany. Their he spent most of his childhood.
4: He spent most of his time at the church singing in the chorus. He also spent time playing with friends at school.
5: He was brought up in a strong catholic household. His parents where Hans and Margarethe Luther.
6: As a young adult Luther did not know what he wanted to do for life. He would think and think, but could never find the right thing for his own self. So one day when he was traveling on top of a hay cart he asked god that if he did not like the path he was headed to than to give him a sign. And in just a few seconds god struck his cart with lightning. The cart burst into flames Luther now understood what he was going to do.
7: He had decided to become a monk, and devote his life to god. That experience with god changed him more than you would ever know.
8: From then on Luther church studying the word learning about Jesus him.
9: spent most of his time in the of Jesus. Although he loved something kept bothering
10: Luther soon found some problems in the church. he was against many of the problems.
11: The church would not listen to him when he confronted them. So, he took it into his own hands.
13: Since the church wouldn't listen to him he decided to to nail a letter that had 95 problems the catholic church had, this was called the 95 thesis.
14: After he did that he was excommunicated from the church (kicked out). He than began a journey to become a protestant priest.
16: After he became protestant he lead reform in the catholic church because people where sick and tired of the church making sinful deals just to make a little money. Once he became a protestant priest he was able to marry and he did marry. he was wed to Katharina Von Bora.
19: He then started to study theology and got a bachelors degree in biblical studies and also a bachelors degree in "Sentences", by Peter Lombard. He became well known for his work and was called to the position of Doctor in Bible. But some of his religious views might be considered far left now a days.
20: This view was about how Jews shouldn't have the same rights in a community as the Christians. He thought that the Jews houses should be burned down. He also thought that their synagogues should be burned down too. also he thought their money should be taken away. Many of his thought where used in propaganda in World War II by Hitler. They had many of the same views. And that is the life story of Martin Luther.
