BC: "Family" I sit in a room A group of so many surrounded by love, all having a role to play, kindness and joy we all fall apart I thank the heavens above. if one has to go away. They’re always there Who are they you ask? especially in times of need, this crazy group I'm attached to, not once do I ever remember they're my family you see having to beg or plead. and i wouldn't trade them not even for a pot of hot fondue!! Christmas and Easter, all our special events even the silly occasion, we attempted to construct blue tents.

FC: Mary-Jo's Diary

Diary Entry 1 Friday, 6th of May 2011 | Dear Diary, Today I write in red as mothers day is coming up soon and red is my mum's favorite colour. I had a really great day, as is any day I can see my cousins. I finished the book I'm reading called 'The Messanger' by Markus Zusak. It was one of the best books I've EVER read! Markus Zusak is by far one of my favorite authors as both the books I've read by him bring me to tears! I can wait for mothers day, I get to see all my cousins, aunties and uncles, I'm so excited!! It was my little sister's first assembly at her school today, she looked so cute! It makes me sad to know that in 10 years she'll be all grown up. Oh well not like I can avoid that from happening, most I can do is hope she grows up to be strong, independent and healthy. Bye!

HOW CUTE IS SHE!! | These are pictures of my little sisters first kindergarten assembly!

Diary Entry 2 Sunday, 8th of May 2011 | Dear Diary, It was my family’s Mother’s Day celebration and I had a ball. First it was me and my entire family sitting outside eating and yelling at the younger boys because they were playing basketball and knocking out the little kids. Then us girls came and sat inside to watch a movie that I had seen way too many times, so I got up to watch the footy with the boys. I yelled a lot, but I had fun. After the movie my cousins decided that they were going to help me pack for camp (that is tomorrow and I just finished packing) it was quite funny because according to them I over pack! (Its not true!) Bye

Diary Entry 3 Monday, 9th of May 2011 | Hey Diary, Today was my first day at camp! It was so much fun! Our first activity was the giant swing, it was fun and all but that fact that it was raining and that the harness hurt so much made it less enjoyable. Whereas our second activity (being Vertical Cluster) was so much fun. Imagine rock climbing but 10 times harder. I only made it to the first bar, but Sarah somehow made it all to the top. I have to go because our lights are supposed to be out but I made a small exception! Before I go I just want to say that I'm never going to sleep because everyone is making me laugh, oww Vika just dropped the camera on my head! Bye

Diary Entry 4 Tuesday, 10th of May 2011 | Dear Diary, It’s good to be home! I missed my bed, my shower, my mum’s cooking! Camp was really fun; I had a really great time! My favorite activity was Vertical cluster I think it was the most enjoyable! Don't get me wrong I really did have ALOT of fun but it was really REALLY good to get back home. It got me thinking if I missed my family (and house) how on earth am I going to be able to live on my own, when I get older???? I honestly don't think I would survive........ not unless I take my mum and dad with me! Ahh well it's another chapter in my life that his far ahead, when I get there I'll figure something out!!! Bye!

Diary Entry 5 Thursday, 19th of May 2011 | Dear Diary Today the smoke alarm went off. My brother was trying to light the fireplace, because it was freezing but somehow managed to smoke up the house. Come to think of it, it was really funny because the rest of the day everyone was cracking jokes! History lesson was really interesting because sir was telling us about elective history next year and he told us a little bit about ‘Jack the Ripper’. What a psycho man!! Religion was also really great because Miss Boland was telling us about this talk she went to with some year 10 students. The talk was all about how women are portrayed in the media. It was really interesting, eye-opening and disturbing at the same time. Honestly what happened to people respecting themselves? Well let’s hope that my generation can fix this! Bye!

Diary Entry 6 Friday, 27th of May 2011 | Dear Diary, ‘Determination is the key to success!” I really like this quote. It shows us that nothing in life comes easy (which is ICREDIBLY true!), it tells us that if we want to achieve we need to sacrifice some things and strive to reach our goal. It makes me think about my eldest sister in England. I mean I remember times when I would literally tip-toe past her room because she was study for an exam! Sometimes I can’t even imagine how much determination she would have had to have. Let’s just hope I can have just as much as her and that she’s safe and happy in England Bye!

Diary Entry 7 Wednesday, 2nd of June 2011 | Dear Diary, Today I’ve deiced that the last couple of entries that I’ll be writing will consist of quotes! So today I was racking my brain trying to think of quotes that I know and have to do with hope for the future and I came up with this (well my sister came up with this): “We are all in the gutters but, Some of us are looking at the stars!” This was quoted by Oscar Wilde. I think this quote is awesome! It shows us that NONE of us are perfect or born lucky and that we all start out the same; yet later on in life there are some of us who are trying to reach the stars. I consider a quote like this to be a motivational quote because it shows you that even if you didn’t come from the best background if you really want something you can achieve! P.S. when my sister red the beginning part to me I stopped her and said “The quote is supposed to be abouT HOPE!!

Dear Diary Today’s quote is, “To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.” I’m not too sure who said this but it’s so hopeful. (Hopeful??? Ahh don’t ask). When I first read this I thought “wow this guys is a real self-esteem builder!” Then I finished reading and I agreed totally. (I just realised that almost all hope quotes start off very dark) I really love this quote and quotes like it because they all have the same hidden message which is, that all the mistakes and risks we take, have to be made or we didn’t live our lives to the fullest. When I say risks and mistakes I mean smart ones because silly mistakes are pointless (not that we all haven’t made one). P.S anyone who reads this is going to think “Wait where did she get this quote from?” Well the answer is, THE INTERNET!!! | Diary Entry 8 Thursday, 3rd of June 2011

Dear Diary, I know I have gone quote crazy but I REALLY like this quote and want to add it in: “Through humor you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. Once you find laughter, no matter how painful the situation might be, you can survive it.” How awesome is that?!?!?!!?!?! I especially love this quote because it doesn’t really require much work on my behalf! I agree with this quote because there’s moments in life you feel helpless then you laugh and it just makes everything better again. P.S. Something that always makes me laugh is seeing my little cousins laugh!!!!! BYE! | Diary Entry 9 Monday, 7th of June 2011
