1: I'm Miguel & I born on September 29 in 1547. As a young child I was moved from town to town often. So that my father could find work. There was never a permanent living place. As it would do for any other child, this was a very exciting adventure for me, but also caused other issues.
2: What was my favorite thing to do? | As a writer I had a interest in writing quotes for example "a closed mouth catches no flies." my quotes actually meant something and makes others ponder...so I've herd.
3: Me, Miguel de Cervantes is best-known for my epic satire masterpiece, the ingenious gentleman Don Quixote de la Mancha, simply known as Don Quixote. I have a lot of confidence in myself. | What was Miguel de Cervantes famous for?
4: I was | always moved from town to town during his time being.
5: With all of the facts giving, I am a great legend who wrote the first true modern novel. Although I have had all of those accomplishments I have also had some failures. For example: my marriage failed to last a life time the way one is suppose to. | :'(
6: In 1570 I joined the Spanish forces at Naples, Italy. At this time the Ottoman Empire and the Mediterranean countries were at war over control of land and power. Things over there were crazy. I was kinda scared but made it threw As a soldier I witnessed the naval victory at the Gulf of Lepanto.
7: After the victory I was captured by "PIRATES" & served as a slave for 5 years until my parents collected enough money to get me out of slavery, I was released in 1580 by the grace of "GOD". Yes, I am a "Roman Catholic". After recuperation I gladly continued my military career.
8: I met her "Catalina de Salazar y Palacios" as I was studying literature. She was the most beautiful site I had ever seen in my nature life. Her walk more delicate than a flower. Skin soft as mother's cloth. She had my speech delayed like a telegram. The only words I could speak was a simple "HELLO!"
9: Great Grand Father | This was my beloved wife "Catalina de Salazar y Palacios" I used to love her dearly, but we drifted apart as a canoe does from the shore.
10: Miguel was famous for the first true modern novel called "Don Quixote." | After my marriage failed I relied on my parents a lot.
11: This is my darling mother, someone who was there for me, when I was captured. She saved up lots of money just to set me free!
12: I have traveled all over Spain! And have seen amazing things. Even though I'm not rich right now I know that when I die my name will be known. People will know who Miguel de Cervantes is.
14: In 1585, I published a pastoral novel called "La Galatea." Because of financial problems, I worked as a purveyor for the Spanish Armada, and later as a tax collector. This was not an easy job!
15: Oh yea I forgot to tell you about the wedding, my parents got married in 1543.
