2: Austin Aztecs Soccer team Austin Aztecs is the first professional soccer league in Austin Texas. the team moved to orlando recently after a winning season. the team won 15 games this season. the austin aztecs were founded in 2008, but are being sold by phil rawlings to orlando. the team plans to move very soon after winning 10 more games this season than 2009.

3: Baylor Bears Tennis Team the fifth ranked baylor bears will be playing in the NCAA champion ship of 2011. the baylor bears athlete peers has been selected to play in the big 12 single championship. he is the fourth bear to be elected to go to the big 12 since 2003. the last bear to go to the big 12 was Benedict Dorsch. 4: Westlake Chaparrals Stadium Venue Westlake stadium is the only high school stadium in the Eanes district. the stadium was established in built in 1969 and established in 1970. Westlake stadium also serves as a soccer and a lacrosse field, making it a multi purpose field. all of Westlakes home games are played there. pop warner football and HCMS football is hosted there also.. www.wikipedia.com/westlakestadium

5: Dallas Cowboys Football Team The head oF the Dallas Cowboys coaches currently is Wade Phillips.the Dallas Cowboys began in 1960 and have won five super bowls since. the head coach in 1960 was Tom Landry. In 1966 the cowboys joined the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, which greately increased the teams exposure. The Dallas Cowboy were soon nicknamed America's team. www.britanica.com/dallascowboys

6: Texas Equestrian Center Texas Equestrian Center is situated on 45 rolling acres and wooded trails in Tyler, Texas. It is located only 1.5 miles from I-20. they offer training in both Western and English riding, with clinics and lessons in Natural Horsemanship, Dressage, and American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA). Texas Equestrian Center has a large covered indoor arena equipped with a newly installed sprinkler system. This helps minimize the dust in the arena during the hot weather months and provides a more comfortable riding experience for both horse and rider.

7: frisbee golf started in ivy league schools where students would toss around empty pie tins. the students would yell frisbee to alert another student that the pie tin was coming. then in 1948 walter fredrick invented a plastic frisbee. it was named the wham-o. he sold it to a company and it was soon named frisbee. it was a huge sensation throughout the states. any frisbees before 1964 are considered antiques. www.disclife.com/whatis

9: Houston Rockets Basketball The team was founded in 1967 as the San Diego rockets but moved to Houston in 1971 after four losing seasons. 11: Josh Hamilton Baseball Josh Hamilton was the first high school player to be taken first in the overall draft since Alex Rodriguez in 1993. Josh belted two triples and was awarded MVP award in 2000. in 2008, Josh was the first person to be walked with the bases loaded. He was one of the six rangers to go to the All Star 2010 game. 12: Kevin Durant Basketball kevin duramt was named MVP of the 2007 big 12 tournament. 13: Lacrosse Sport lacrosse was originally played by native americans, who called the sport"little brother of war." it was then adapted by canadians and was turned into a sport in the late 1800's. the first lacrosse championship was in 1884 and was played against the native americans. the sport quickly spread through the US and other countries. the montreal lacrosse club was formed in 1856. www.hickosports.com/lacrosse

14: Mount Bonell Venue The Mount Bonnel trail is .31 miles long and has a difficulty 2.21 stars. It has a rating of 3.5 stars, the elevation level is 190 feet. 15: NCAA Final Four Tournament 2011 Basketball This tournament was hosted in Houston, TX. Butler VS. UConn at Reliant Stadium. Butler lost 53 to 41.The shooting percentage for Butler was 18.8% and was the lowest shooting average in any men's title game. 17: PIng Pong Sport Ping Pong first became an Olympic sport in 1988, Seoul, Korea. Table tennis or Ping Pong can be played with either 2 or 4 player, singles or doubles. 21: Texas Longhorns Tennis Team The Texas Longhorn Tennis team has been running for more than 15 years. There next game will be on Wed. May 25. In the their last tournament UT went 4-3. 22: Ultimate Frisbee Sport in 1968 Joel Silver introduced the sport of Ultimate Frisbee to the high school student council. soon a team wa formed at the shcool and games were played in the parking lot. the first organized championship was played in 1975

23: Vince Young Athlete Vince young was the 5-A player of the year in 2001. he was also given the Pete Dawkins trophy in the all American Army Bowl. Vince rushed a total of 200 yards in the 2006 Rose Bowl. Vince is one of four two-time MVP's. he also won the Heisman Trophy voting in 2005. 24: Woodlands Marathon Marathon The Next Woodland marathon is taking place in 2012 in Houston, Texas. The marathon has a few different races one 10k, one 5k, and one 2k. The is also a minimum prize purse of $20,00. There will be about 5,000 to 7,500 runners in this marathon. 25: Xtreme Paintball Park Park The Extreme Paintball Park is located Manor, TX. They have six fields at there facility and it has been running for more than 5 years. Admission at Xtreme Paintball is $15 or $5 for people with their own stuff. Xtreme Paintball is the closest field to the capital of Texas building

27: Zach Thomas Athlete Zach Thomas played for the Miami Dolphins from 1996-2009. During his first season he made over 120 solo tackles. He went to Texas Tech and was picked in 5th round to Miami.
