1: Milton Hershey was born on September 13,1857 in Hockersville, PA. Hershey did not complete his education in high school, nor did he go to college. At the age of 15 Hershey was apprenticed, he then later, after two failed attempts, set up his own caramel company, Lancaster Caramel co, Hershey eventually sold the company and focused on just perfecting the formula for his chocolate bars. Later Hershey began building a chocolate factory, which would soon become he Biggest chocolate manufacturing plant. Hershey passed away on October 13, 1945.
