BC: This boycott was one incedent that inspired more black people to fight for they're rights by civil disobedience. | Each person must live their life as a model for others. Rosa Parks

FC: The Montgomery Bus Boycott 1955 Montgomery, Alabama

1: The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a giant boycott of the busses in Montgomery, Alabama to push for integration of public facilities.

2: Rosa Parks was a seamstress coming home from work one day on a bus, she sat in the middle seats on the bus reserved for whites or African Americans. She was tired from a day's work and when a white man wanted to sit in her chair she wouldn't get up.

3: When the bus driver asked "Are you going to stand up?" She realized that by not standing on this bus, she was in fact standing up for her rights. | "Are you going to stand up?

4: Once others heard about Parks' arrest a larger organized boycott started led in part by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

5: The people who walked instead of taking the bus were known as "Freedom Walkers." | Rosa Parks had inadvertently started a revolution. "It was not prearranged, It just happened that the driver made a demand and i just didn't feel like obeying his demand." Rosa Parks
