Language Arts Language arts is most torturous and pleasurable, It gives the world go round. How else could one be communicable? With reading and comprehension flying around and around, With ideas soaring through your brain. Coming out on paper making you insane. The essay it is called, Bringing out the evil creatures known as the procrastination in the night. The ideas flow around the world For they bring out the world of imagination and thought And allows the brain ‘til the brain goes hot, To the point where it may rot. But never fear there are aspects that are fun Like writing stories books and reading about anything you want From Harry Potter to Alex Rider to Charlie Brown comics, The world of language arts can revolve around fun and terror, But life in the end will end with cheer! Some hate the concept of Language arts, But it’s the most important form of art!

Self Respect Poem Sometimes I play, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I work, sometimes I won’t. Depending on the situation, I might even do both or nothin’. It really just depends on my mood and my day. I’m not the average kid at GSMST. And I ain’t the type to only work with no TV. But I learned that life is not all fun and games. Because I am only successful when try to study and work. I’m not one to say what you do and what you don’t. My worth is not determined by only work or play, it is determined by my personality and what I say. No matter what changes occur in life throughout its course, I will always be my hardworking self.

My Mother's Kitchen Aromas are filling the house, Coming from the clean kitchen, But here comes Bhavita Jayaraman And in her box goes the dead mouse, Caught by her and no one else, Who had already caught its spouse Just when entering our house! “How gross.” says Bhavita Jayaraman. As my mother opens the oven, Pulling out some cultural food, That could be green and yellow, And enjoyed by any fellow, But not Bhavita Jayaraman Her response: “Green Spinach, how gross!” My mother’s kitchen has many delicacies, None of which you will often see, As she makes her own recipes, That fulfills our hungry tummies. Though it is new, Doesn’t means it can’t be blue, Because how else could one satisfy you visually and in hunger?

My Mother's Kitchen cont. Though there may be something always new, It may not be the tastiest of all food. The sweets are always a delight, But foods that are good for us, We do not always like. Somehow she makes it tasty, Without us having to worry of our health greatly. So as you can see my mother’s kitchen is quite interesting, Though there may be an error or two, There is never a problem of choosing what to eat, As it all gives a feeling of being given a treat! So here is the magical kitchen of my mother, Enchanting all of her dishes with its power. This is the kitchen of my mother!

Ode to GSMST There is a school feared by all and love by some, Especially when this school is a challenging one. Though people may feel uncomfortable to attend, The gifts received for attending makes it one recommended. There are no sports, nor is this a nerd resort. It is a place to learn ahead of others of our standard , And to show off our capabilities as we meander Through life here at GSMST. Oh great school of: Mathematics, Science , and Technology All of the great gifts you give to me And yet one cannot completely be satisfied easily As rewards are delivered after and only after we succeed in everything, With nothing but everything we have to enhance the ease of the process.

Ode to GSMST cont. Great GSMST, Whom is going to reward us with great glory and a good high school story, Great enough to get into an excellent college of our choice And worth our brilliance and grandeur. Sports and population not great or high here at school, But this is not noticed as it is made up with our own clubs And enjoy benefits from low population that we often like to grab. Oh GSMST, thank you for all that will be!

Contrasting the Truth and a Lie A truth could harm so many, While a lie will only make others feel good. But then why is that we are told to tell the truth so frequently, When lying could make others feel better than they wood? Is it the fact that lying is wrong? Because last time I checked harming others was also immoral. Is it the fact that that saying the truth is right? Because the last time I checked making people happy did not blight. Maybe one must look beyond the present And to the future that is held from the truth or lie Even if you are rich, famous or even a peasant Because a lie can be good presently but that good will die And evil and trouble will arise. But the truth is a different story. It could be good or bad in the present While ending good in the future for at least he or she knows the truth, And can leave peacefully with all of the cards laid out without doubt. This is the difference between the truth and stating what is false.
