6: "Language Arts" By:Michael Figueroa | Sitting down and pondering, Unfortunately, other things could be fonder, Attempting to remember all those Greek roots, But not as fun, so they take the boot, The amazing world of Language arts will just let your mind wander! The power of words is vast, They're part of our present not our past, All those verbs, adjectives, and nouns, The pages they are contained in definitely weigh more than a pound, These things can't just be cast.

7: Poetry is the spice of life, It can be as smooth as a river or as sharp as a knife, It's existed for hundreds of years The subjects discussed by it can bring laughter or Tone is the flavor of it all, They translate into the reader almost like a whisper or a call, Sadness, happiness, anger, and agony are just a few to name, From this people have so much to gain, These emotions can be stronger than a wall. Don't you see? Doesn't all this excitement from language arts make you want to pee? Essays, poems, epics, and stories, Characters with personalities from humble to gory, Just know that the world of literature is larger than the sea!

8: "The Kitchen" By: Michael Figueroa Stirring, chopping, mushing, and mashing, Mother, oh how you do this with a passion! Turn on the oven, put it right in! The food and it are like the Jake and Fin, Klinging, Klanging, banging, ticking, and tocking, All these kitchen sounds, ringing as if mocking. Lil’ sis just walks right in to see the wondrous food, Helping out with this busy, but delightful mood!

9: What's cooking? Some nice hot chicken, with some peas that are quite looking! Of course people don't eat living things, So obviously it's all dead, but we'll eat like Kings! Hunger will leave, But our stomachs will not grieve.
