FC: Attending the University of North Carolina has been the most life changing experience I have had growing. Each experience has taught valuable lessons about myself and people. This experience had inspired change, growth, and maturity in me.
With pictures and little narration, this scrapbook will tell the story of my major life event of attending UNCG, which has impacted and influenced my life forever. Please note that not all my experiences are limited to the campus and people of UNCG. Some of my experience have been linked to the Greensboro community.
Trip to Las Vegas! (A random trip I took while in college due to a plentiful refund check!
Needing to get involved, on campus, the first thing I got involved was the Neo-Black Society Gospel Choir to pursue my passion of singing.
Gospel Choir in New York (Food, Fun, Fellowship, & Community Service)
Gospel Choir in Florida (Food, fun, Fellowship, & Community Service)
 Community Service Site
On my quest to get involved on campus, I enrolled in a University Studies class. After the course I became the Peer Academic Leader in the course for 3yrs.
 Telling everyone about me.
Frustrated in the group activity but deciding to pull through it.
Leader Shape. A week long retreat for college students that allows them to explore, create, & implement their vision.
 Me as a Resident Advisor.
Doing Roll Call during RA training, hoping to win the spirit stickl
Another job I took on was a Spartan Orientation Leader. I helped all the new incoming students get acquainted with the University.
Outside of campus involvement, I ventured on a spiritual journey that led to Mt. Calvary Holy Church where I met great people and serves as the praise & worship leader. Still pursuing my passion of singing.
As you can see, much of my involvement has taken the form of some sort of leadership role. i have definitely gained leadership skills, abilities, and attributes that I will able to transfer to any environment I am placed in. Another observation that you may have noticed is the changes to my hair. My hair is a direct metaphor of me and how I have changed over my college experience. I have grown my hair, braided it, curled it, and cut it short. It symbolizes the change I want to be in the world. Just to recap and wrap up my life changing experience, take a look at the "process" of my hair......
 The End!!!
