FC: Queen Elizabeth
1: "What a family is without a steward, a ship without a pilot, a flock without a shepherd, a body without a head, the same, I think, is a kingdom without the health and safety of a good monarch." ~Queen Elizabeth 1
2: There once was a man named King Henry VIII, he was scared that he would never have a little boy to take his throne once he passed so he married a woman, but she only had little girls. He was very upset with this, so he created his own religion so he could leave her because he wasn't in love with her. Shortly after he left her he married another women, this was Elizabeth's mother, she also only had little girls so Henry had her beheaded and sent Elizabeth, the main character, to the country to be raised by others.
3: Elizabeth spent her entire life in the country, she had a brother who she shared tutors with. She was tutored in French, Greek, Latin, grammar, math, and every other subject royal children were taught. (Even though her father told her he didn't want her and sent her away she was still treated as a princess.) Whilst she was living there she learned a great deal about many things, she was very interested in learning. When she was 25 her older half-sister, Mary, died of tummy problems and she became Queen of England. Before Mary died Elizabeth was sent to her to be killed, Mary couldn't kill her sister so she sent her away.

6: A few years before Mary died Elizabeth went to Australia to wait out the bad days, while she was in Australia she bought a horse farm and began to raise horses, cows, pigs and other animals. As she lived out her life in Australia she met a man, Sir. Lawrence Philip, they fell in love, he was her prince charming. They went to many balls together and spent many hours together, they thought it was going to last forever. After 3 years he asked her to marry him, of course she said "yes!" immediately! They were set to be married in a year, Mary wrote to her best friend back in England to ask her to come, as soon as her friend answered the letter Elizabeth could tell something was the matter with her. Worried, Elizabeth asked what was wrong, her friend said "Have you not heard? Mary has a tumor in her stomach, she's going to die."
8: As soon as she heard this she was scared out of her mind, she couldn't even stand up straight. "Oh, thank you for telling me. I must go now, I must apologize, send my deepest apologies to Phillip." she said. As soon as she sent this letter she hurried home to find Lawrence sitting on the porch, waiting. He had a letter in his hand and a saddened look on his face. She ran into his arms and cried, he looked at her and said "I understand, you must go back to England." "I do not wish to leave you, we are to be married in a year." she replied. He finished the conversation with "We must break the engagement or I must go with you to England and become the King." Knowing what kind of problems that would cause Elizabeth kissed him one last time and they said their goodbyes.

12: She was 25 when she went back to England to become the Queen. She began her rule on the 17th of November. When she came to power England was in a terrible shape, the Navy was a failure, she was dirt poor, and the Catholic church was killing everyone they felt needed to be killed. Mary, the queen before her, was a strong Catholic and wanted all people of other faiths murdered. So when Elizabeth came to power, a devout Protestant, she put a stop to all of the killings. She also, being the strong woman that she was, rebuilt the Navy and all of England back up from dirt! She was a pretty amazing woman.
16: For 45 years she ruled England as the "Virgin Queen." She got this nickname because she decided to never marry out of fear of a man taking her throne and power away. As she grew older since she never married she never had any children thus, she never had any heirs. When she died James Stewart became the king of England. He was not an heir but he was in the family, he ruled just as well as Elizabeth. Elizabeth I is one of the most well known and loved queens of all time, she will be remembered for years and years to come. THE END
