2: Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis (Goddess of the Moon). He was the god of Music, Healing, Prophesy, and Light. He had a set of golden arrows that caused excruciating and immediate death or plague. Apollo was considered the high standard of male beauty. Apollo also tamed the nine Muses (goddesses of Arts, Music, Poems, Science and Literature). He Pursued one of the muse, Daphne, who did not want his attention at all and prayed to the mother earth that turned her into a Laurel Tree. Apollo was also Zeus favorite son. Apollo was also said to be the god of sports. Apollo is said to be a prime example of a typical Greece male. He was the first god besides Aphrodite to accept Bi-sexuality.
5: The Quarrel over Asclepius Apollo had a son name Asclepius, who was a doctor in Greece. He also had this special power that was given to him by Apollo because Asclepius was his favorite son, this was to revive people from the dead and at once it made Hades (Pluto), the god of the underworld angry. Hades then reports this to Zeus (Jupiter) King of all gods, God of thunder. Zeus then took the life from Asclepius and suddenly Apollo was in so much grief that he then killed the Cyclopes. As punishment Zeus was going to send Apollo to Tartarus (a Place where evil people go to after death to be tortured), but Leto (Apollo's mother & goddess of the moon) Pleaded Zeus to forgive him and Zeus eventually gave in. /www.paleothea.com
