FC: Justin's School Years 1996 - 2010
1: The School of Life :) | "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box."
2: Justin went to Create-a-Day for 2 years, 1996-1997 and 1997-1998 | Create-a Day was in Riverbend. Mom had anxiety the first day we went to check it out, but Justin LOVED it.. hated to leave. That clinched it.
3: Two years of pre-school (just for fun) | He had two wonderful teachers, Miss Ronni (who owned the place) and Miss Susan. | Play school is where Justin first met Stephen Levy, our good friend.
4: So Many Books, So Little Time | Create-a-Day (year 2)
5: Kindergarten | Justin went to St. Bernadette, in Lynnwood, for his Kindergarten and grade one years. The summer after grade 1, they opened Holy Angels School, in Riverbend, where he went for grades 2 through 6. | Mrs. Roth Mrs. Burr (aide)
6: Grade 1 (Mrs. Tholl) St. Bernadette
7: Grade 2 (Mrs. Carinelli) Holy Angels | Mom got laid off from her job at Nova the spring before Holy Angels opened, so she was able to spend my grade 2 year volunteering at the school (paid by Nova).

9: Grade 3
10: "Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself."
11: Grade 4 | Mrs. Bracci
12: Grade 5
13: "Imagination is more important than knowledge..." Albert Einstein | Miss Charlet and Mrs. Gruending
14: Safety Patrol | Grade 6
15: Mrs. Griffin-White (she'd gotten married since grade 3)
16: Grade 7 | For the first time (since St. Bernadette) Justin had to start taking the bus to school. He is with Kurtis Frederickson, his best friend at the time, and our neighbour, Josh Eggli | Justin wanted to do French immersion, so he went to St. Matthews in grade 7. But he didn't like it and switched to St. Augustine the following year. *Side note: Mom went to St. Matthew in grade 4, for awhile (before moving on to St. Benedict).
