S: Connecting with Country

FC: St Hilda's Junior School Connect with Country

1: 'Connecting with Country' allows us to acknowledge the traditional Nyoongar custodians of our local area and demonstrate our respect for Aboriginal people as Australia’s First Peoples.

4: The Moorditj Mob connect us to dance and celebration. "Moorditj" - means 'really strong' and 'great' in the Nyoongar language.

6: Our camp at New Norcia takes us on a journey into the past.

11: Designining and creating our Bush Tucker Garden has connected us to the quiet place: Anyngkarrinjarra ki-awarawu

13: Anyngkarrinjarra ki-awarawu Listening in a quiet place lets me see. When I am still, and the quiet washes over my spirit, then I can hear. When I find a calm place in my mind, I can see where to go.
