BC: Eighth grade Eighth grade was the best year I ever had from the fun point of view, not the academic one. I had the worst grade possible this year, I had an average of 4 and bad grades, but even though I had bad grades I had more fun this year than in all my years of school. I had a lot of fun experiences and made new friends in and out of school.
FC: My Memoir By Stefan Timis
In my years of school everything was ok until I reached 6th grade. 6th grade was hell for me. I got really bad grades but in the end it turned out ok. 7th was not that good either, I had fun but bad grades. 8th grade was the hardest, got the worst grades possible but I know everything will turn out ok at the end of the year, the grades are very important but I had more fun the 6th and 7th grade together. All over, I did not have very god grades but I had a lot of fun! In this memoir I will talk about my first 8 school years and a little bit about how school affected my life.
Kindergarten When I first went to kindergarten I was really scared. When I entered the class room I saw so many kids and I thought wow, these are my class mates. I think I was scared because I never knew that I would have to learn with a group of children. At first I was scared of the thought that I would stay half a day in a room with a teacher and a bunch of children but then when I found out that we played all day long I actually found out that I liked school, at that time of course. Then I moved up to first grade.
First grade When I got in first grade things got a bit harder because I started to learn the alphabet which was tough work for me. It was hard to learn math and the other things that you learn in 1st grade but the problem was not learning, I had a bad teacher. SHe was really boring and it was hard to understand what she said because she had a very weird accent. I also felt strange to be in 1st grade because I was small and so the big kids and the high scholars were so big, they made me feel really small.
Second grade When I got in second grade I got pretty used to school. 2nd grade was actually easier than 1st grade but I did not have so much fun because I had to learn more because the teacher gave us so much homework and so many assignments, also it started to get boring. It was a good year with good grades but I think 1st grade was better.
Third grade Third grade was good but I only had 5 months of school in 3rd grade because in the winter vacation I broke my leg and I could not come the rest of the year at school. I was in the hospital a very long time and stayed with a cast for 4 months. When I took it off I had to recover my leg but when I started to recover school finished. I was very sad that I broke my leg and had to stay in a bed for 4 months but I was very happy that I skipped 3rd grade.
Fourth grade Fourth grade was one of my best years of school ever because I had the best teacher ever and we had a lot of fun things during that year. During 4th grade I also got my best grades ever. My teacher never let me not do my homework or my assignments. I even won a prize for the best in class at math. It was really fun!
Fifth grade In fifth grade I had my best and easiest year in elementary school. I had the best teacher possible. I had so much fun during class even though we got quite a lot of homework and I got kept during lunch for not doing it but overall it was a great year with good grades and a lot of successes and achieved goals.
Sixth grade Sixth grade was like a hammer in my head. It was impossible at the beginning and my grades were so bad that I was put on academic super vision. My teachers were so bad and I was totally lost by the end my average grade was 4.2 and I was satisfied but it was very hard at the beginning.
Seventh grade When I got in seventh grade I was already used to middle school so it was a bit easier but I still had grade problems. I had better teachers but it was still pretty hard. The problem was that I did not do any of my homework so it was very hard for me during class to understand because I did not do my homework. I passed seventh grade successfully and entered eighth grade.
