1: The Paleo Indians were hunter gatherers. These animals are some that the Paleo Indians hunted. They are deer, mammoths, bison, and the glyptodon | Glyptodon | Wooly Mammoth | Bison | Wooly Mammoth | Deer

2: Bow and Arrow | Pointed stones | spear | A few types of arrowheads | These are some weapons that the Paleo Indians used.

3: These are four tools, discovered by archeologists, that the Paleo Indians used. | Fire was used to cook and warm the food. | Paleo Indian Drill found in Ohio | A rounded arrowhead. | These are some scrapers that the Paleo Indians used to scrape fur off of their prey.

4: These are pictures of the land bridge Beringia and the Bering Strait, which the Paleos crossed. The Bering Strait formed after the ice bergs melted and Berngia was drowned. | This is Beringia. | This is the Bering Strait.

5: These are pictures of what the Paleo Indian houses may have looked like.

7: No exact date can be given as to when the Paleo Indians came to the Americas. Archaeologists believe that they moved from Asia to what is now Utah. The Paleo Indian time period was from 15,000 BC to 7,000 BC, but lived in Utah from 11,000 BC to 16,000 BC. | This is Asia | This is Utah | The Paleo Indians got to Utah by migrating, or walking across the Beringia land bridge, following their prey.
