FC: The Groups of the World Domains,Kingdoms,and Vertebrates By Joelle Jackson
1: These are the three domains of life
2: Bacteria These are one-celled organisms that are prokaryotes . The cell is rather simple.
4: Archaea These are one-celled organisms. they are very similar to bacteria. Archaea is Greek for "ancient". Members of this domain live in environments similar to ancient Earth.. Some of Archaea's organisms live in thermal vents in the bottom of the ocean.
6: Eukarya All of the organisms in this Domain have cells with a nucleus. This includes almost all of the multi-cellular organisms on Earth. It also includes some one-celled organisms.
8: The Five Kingdoms There are five kingdoms animal,plant,fungi,protists, and monerans. Each has different types of organisms.
9: Animal Kingdom Living organisms that are made of many cells. They get their nutrients and energy by eating other organisms. They reproduce cells, which grow inside or outside of the mother's body.
10: Animal Kingdom
11: Fungi Kingdom Living organisms that usually are made of many cells. They get their nutrients by digesting and absorbing the surface they live on. They reproduce with spores.

13: Plant Kingdom Living organisms that are made of many cells. They get their energy from the sun and nutrients from their surroundings. Many reproduce from seeds..

15: Protist Kingdom Living organisms usually made of one cell , that have a defined nucleus. Some of them get nutrients by eating other organisms, while others make food from the sun. They reproduce by splitting in two. Many of the microscopic organism you look at today are in this Kingdom.

17: Moneran Kingdom Living organisms made of one cell that has no defined nucleus. They get the nutrients they need when the nutrients pass through their cell membrane. They reproduce by dividing into two.
19: Vertebrates Vertebrates are animals with backbones. There are five major vertebrate groups which are mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.. They are warm-blooded animals which mean their blood temperature stays about the same regardless the temperature surrounding them.
20: Fish Fish are cold-blooded .They live in water and most have gills for breathing. They are usually covered with scales.
22: Birds They lay fragile eggs, and have feathers on their skin.. They breathe with lungs and are warm blooded.. Which mean their blood temperature stays about the same regardless the temperature surrounding them.. All birds have wings, but some do not fly.
24: Mammals Almost all mammals give birth to live young. They nurse young with milk. They have hair or fur and are warm-blooded. There are three types of mammals monotremes, placental mammals, and marsupials
25: Mammals: Monotremes The most primitive mammals still in existence. They lay eggs.
26: Mammals: Marsupials Mammals with a pouch for carrying their young. The young emerge extremely small and crawl to the pouch where they nurse with milk. They are a primitive group of mammals evolving before placental mammals.

28: Mammals: Placental Mammals in which the fetus is attached to the wall of the uterus and nourished through a spongy material called the placenta.

30: Amphibians They are cold-blooded meaning their blood temperature varies according to the temperature around them. Their skin is moist and has no scales. They lay soft jelly-like eggs in water. Young go through stages from larvae to tadpole. Young breather will gills and adults often breathe with lungs or skin.
32: Reptiles Reptiles are cold blooded. They breathe with lungs. Their skin usually has scales or horny plates. They lay leathery eggs on land.
