THE SUN IS THE KING OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. ITS SURFACE IS A WARM 6,000 DEGREES CELCIUS!
Mercury is the closet planet to the sun. It also has craters, like the Earth's moon.
The atmosphere of Venus makes it too hot to live there. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 63 pounds on Venus! | VENUS
The Earth is the third planet from the Sun! | THE EARTH | The Earth has only one moon.
MARS | Mars was the Roman god of war and agriculture. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 27 pounds on Mars!
JUPITER | Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. | Jupiter is 90% hydrogen and 10% helium.
SATURN is the second largest planet and it takes 29.5 Earth years to revolve around the sun.
URANUS is the seventh planet from the sun and the third largest in the solar system.
NEPTUNE | The strongest wind on any planet was measured on Neptune. | If Neptune were hollow, it could contain 60 Earths!
