1: I am one of Universal Bluford's Best. I have skills, talents, and desires to be someone special. Violence, graffiti, and foul language have no place in my life. I will be a positive force in the world by respecting myself, parents, teachers, neighbors and all mankind. 2: To My Sixth Grade Universal Bluford Family, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a blessed farewell as you move on. As I often say, “you graduate from high school and college”. I anticipate “ALL” will graduate from high school and those who move on to college will graduate. As you “move up and on”, be sure to exhibit that “Universal Bluford Pride”. Universal Bluford will “ALWAYS” be your family. Our doors here at Universal Bluford will forever be open to you. Good luck as I wish you continued success as well as continued “peace and blessings”. Lastly, I say to you, “Good Night Sweethearts As It’s Time To Go.” -Ray Ragland | A NOTE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL | "Yesterday's History." "Tomorrow's a Mystery." "Live for today."

"First of all, I would like to thank everyone at UBCS for giving me such an honor. "Parent of the year,"is such a great accomplishment to be recognized for. Our children are the special ones, which is why I am so dedicated to ensure that they have the brightest future can give them. They are our seeds that we plant and nurture until they grow and blossom into the adults we want them to become. Words cannot express how much I love my children, so I will let my actions speak for me. When they look back as adults they will realize everything that we as parents do for them. Once again thank you for such a prestigious award.
