FC: Why is the sky blue? By Alyssa
Introduction | People have wondered why the sky was brightly blue when it could be green, purple, or yellow. That is, they wondered until Lord Rayleigh and Albert Einstein found the answer.
Why is the sky blue? | When light enters the atmosphere, molecules of air scatters the light. Light has frequency. The higher frequency means the more scattered.
Why are sunsets red? | When the sun sets, the sun goes through the atmosphere for a great distance. Then, "blue" can't reach us as much as like it did before.
What might affect sky color? | It isn't the same for when the sky turns gray however. But the sky is still blue and the clouds are still white, so the rainclouds don't affect sky color.
Another question is "will the ozone layer affect sky color?" That, is not known yet.
Who found the answer? | The people who found the answer are Lord Rayleigh and Albert Einstein.
 Lord Rayleigh | Albert Einstein
Conclusion | Lord Rayleigh and Einstein may have answered this question about the sky, but the bright blue sky over our heads is filled with tons of wonders that our scientists are determined to find out the answer to.
P.S. The reason I picked this topic for my project is because when I see the sky, sometimes I can't help but wonder why it was blue.
