FC: MY OWN FAITH WALK | My life long journey with God | Raisa Santiago 1A | Faith 2.0 Making Sense of our Faith in the Digital World
I knew from the start, that He'd always be there for me | Ever since I was little, I already knew God
My parents introduced me to God. They would tell me about Him, the blessings he gives. | Every night, my parents would guide me through prayer.
There would be times where I would doubt God's glory and His presence because I had bad days or problems that I encountered.
I realized that everything He does is His will. | He knows what is best for all of us. We need to have faith in him.
My faith was tested when I was tempted to against my parents' rules. I knew that they would get mad if they found out. So, I thought of ways so they wouldn't find out about it.
I decided not to continue with it because I thought about my parents, how they would be very disappointed with me. I told myself that doing that wouldn’t make me a better person.
I dealt with it through the only thing I could do, through prayer. | My faith was weakened when my mom experienced dengue. The doctors told my dad that it was already a life and death situation and I couldn’t even donate blood or do anything about it, much less visit her in the hospital. I spent most of the days alone at home.
I get my inspiration from my family and friends, they have been there for me through thick and thin.
I would want to be more active in my church and in my community so that I could strengthen my relationship with God
I will encourage people to do their best in their faith walk by sharing my experiences and realizations about the project. I will share to them the valuable lessons I have gained.
