9: Children and grand-children arranged the party. Food was prepared by the girls and the boys set up the drinks. | The room was decorated with balloons and ribbon, and a marble cake was festive with polka-dots and a bow. | All of the family who could, made plans to be in town on that Saturday. The refreshments had been gathered and we got together to prepare them. FUN! | Millie Shook

14: We all enjoyed Dad's commentary and stories about the pictures from his past 90 years! | -Joannie Miree and Cynnie Shook Sproull reminiced about their school-days. -Cackie and Mary Margaret Livingston Hindman with Jack. -Jamey greets Hunter and Erin Watson Overstreet. -Ruth Mears, Millie Shook and Kitty Scott Urquhart.
15: -David Frost and Rosa M Read danced to swing music. -Kelley occasionally slowed down enough to taste the cake and ice cream. -Tom Mears congratulated Jack on his achievement. -Meg McGriff North always has something clever to say.
