10: Jodi ReNee' Boyd | Born August 13, 1961

11: Dad wanted a boy so my nickname growing up was "Hank"! I loved it! I grew up in Murtagh, Burley, Heyburn and Pocatello, Idaho. I have many good memories of growing up but one I remember was my first day in Jr. High. Mom was so worried about getting me up on time and accidentally woke me up about 2 hrs too early! Another memory was a time we went up by Pomerell ski area snow tubing and Dad flying down the hill through some trees right into the creek after just warning us not to go that way! Mom and Dad were great parents and always supportive of anything we did! I had an awesome childhood and always felt loved...even if I wasn't a "boy"!

12: Robert Douglas Boyd | Born January 15, 1963

13: Robert Douglas Boyd was born January 15th, 1963 in Twin Falls, Idaho. I grew up in Heyburn and attended Heyburn elementry school. One of my earliest memories was when I started kindergarten and rode the bus to school for the first time ever by myself. When it was time to go home, I rode the bus for hours because I didn't know where I lived and neither did the bus driver. Mother was very worried and angry at the bus driver for not bringing me home right after school. One day when I was little, I was being watched by Dad and Uncle Billy. After several hours of not being able to locate me, neighbors and friends started searching up and down the canal bank. Unbeknownst to everyone, I had simply fell asleep under an old abandoned car with my pet dog. Talk about worried parents! When I was about 5 years old, I was camping out in our basement and decided to make a little campfire. Unfortunately, I ran upstairs and exclaimed to mother that the "Forest" had caught on fire. Yes , I burnt up the entire basement of our home. I am sure I gave my parents a few of their gray hairs but I was always loved and spoiled for being the only son. I am sure I got away with alot more stuff than the girls!

She was dressed in doll clothes and taken out of the hospital in a Christmas stocking. Lori grew up in Heyburn, Idaho until she was in the 6th grade. Lori enjoyed swimming in the "pool" which was actually a pond. She would climb a weeping willow in the backyard everyday in hopes that something "magical" would happen. Lori and her brother Robbie would "shop" for frogs all day long in the canal. Moved to Pocotello, Idaho First day of 6th grade Lori discovered her inner fashionista and was terrified cause she didn't think she had the right clothes. Had tons of friends despite her split tooth and glasses.

You raised great kids (especially the oldest one!) and you have grandkids and great grandkids that love you! You always kept us laughing whenever we got together. 36: Grandkids Memories Continued... | I can't say that I have one single favorite memory of Grandma and Grandpa, that's too difficult a task because I have too many. Whenever I think of the Gma and the Gpa Boyd, I am always taken back to when they lived in Nebraska. I visited them on a couple of occasions by myself because I loved being around them so much ( also, because Skyler and I were BFFs back then ). I distinctly remember how consistent Grandpa was, and still is today, with everything that he does. Up at 6:00, a little workout on his bike, exact same items for breakfast ( Grape Nuts, Fiber One, Grapefruit. Every. Day ), exact same lunch packed, check stocks on CNN, work, home, bed at 9:00...repeat. And who couldn't love Grandpa's laugh, so infectious and comforting. I love how Grandma is a night owl. I used to love staying up with her and playing Nintendo games into the wee hours of the morning. I mean come on, coolest Grandma ever award. We didn't do anything too extravagant when I visited them, but the memories that I have of my trips to Nebraska will always be some of my very fondest. I am a little embarrassed to say this, but every single time I left, whether it be on my solo trips, or when I came out with my family, I bawled like a little girl because I didn't want to leave that bad. One thing that I can say for certain is that it is very apparent how much they love each other, something that I started noticing at a young age. We all know that Grandpa would do anything for Grandma...anything. I LOVE them! -Bryson

37: One of my greatest memories of my grandparents is Grandpa always having cinnamon gum. I could always count on asking for cinnamon gum and getting it. I loved the smell of Grandma's coffee in the mornings when she came to visit. We love you, Grandma and Grandpa -Tyler | When I was a kid, grandpa used to take me to the store all the time and would buy me a York Peppermint Patty. For some reason that sticks out in my mind. And when we would come out and visit them in Omaha, grandma and I would stay up until 3 in the morning playing Aladdin on Nintendo!! -Aubrie | I remember one specific time while eating dinner over at Gma and Gpa's house. I was giving the blessing and thanked Grandpa for preparing the delicious dinner. As soon as the 'Amen' was said, Gma pointed out she actually had made the dinner. Since then, if I ever give the blessing, Gma jokingly informs me which one of them made dinner. Love you Guys!! -Randi | I remember one time when Gma and Gpa were visiting from Nebraska, we all went to Lava Hot Springs. Grandpa was completely dressed and was watching all the kids swim. All of a sudden he slipped and fell into the pool. After we made sure he was ok, we all had a good laugh! (What the Gayle??) Happy 50th! -Alex
