Under the auspice of the Alpha Gamma Zeta chapter, the program proved to be a great success and benefit to the sorority. June of 1993, during the Southern Regional Conference, the Regional Board adopted the Pearlette Club (a youth group for girls, ages 4-7) as the official youth group in the Southern region. The program was evaluated and proven to be a sustainable program. During the 74th National Conference held in Orlando, Florida in July of 1994, International Grand Basileus Jylla Moore Foster administration, the Pearlette Youth Auxiliary was adopted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as a national youth auxiliary. In 1996, the age range was recommended to be extended to age eight to close the gap between Pearlettes and Amicettes, resulting in a smooth transition into the Amicette Youth Auxiliary. The Youth Auxiliary Program assures the preservation of and broadening of the sorority’s horizon. | The first club was formed in the 1950’s. They are composed of girls ages 9-13 who are matriculating in junior high schools. Amicettes strive for high ideals, demonstrate leadership qualities, and are willing to work as part of a group. The mission of the Youth Clubs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is to provide a carefully designed program of activities that will enhance members through mind, body, and spirit as they work within their various communities to help others. | Zeta Archonettes was first formed in the 1950's, members are young women in between the ages of 14 and 18, who are in high school. These young ladies demonstrate interest in the goals and the ideals of scholarship, sisterly love, and community service. The purpose is to support and encourage healthy development of a talented group of high school girls with self improvement activities focused on social, leadership, and educational growth are keys to their success. | Pearlettes The Colors: Light (baby) Blue and White | Amicettes The Colors: Navy Blue and White | Archonettes The Colors: Navy Blue and White | 04

5: Leslie Buckner Chapter President | Tau Psi Zeta Chapter was chartered on 9/19/2004 by 20 women who sought to create an atmosphere where the personal goal of a lifetime commitment to Zeta can be achieved. Recognizing the importance of investing in our future and the growth of the sorority, TPZ immediately implemented the Youth Program in 2005. The first chapter president and charter member, Renee Byrd launched the Archonette Club and the Amicette and Pearlette Clubs soon flourished. | Youth Coordinators Clarissa Davis & Keala Bell-Harrington.....................Amicettes | Pearlettes Johnique Smith & Kelly Flowers.................................................Archonettes | Tau Psi Zeta Graduate Chapter |P.O. 22: On September 15, 2000, 16 year old Rasul “Rocky” Clark was a starting running back for Eisenhower High School located in Blue Island, Illinois. While playing Oak Forest High School, four plays into the game, Rocky was tackled and suffered two broken vertebrae in his neck and a devastating spinal cord injury. Rocky Clark’s life changed from the instant he was hit. | Rasul "Rocky" Clark In-Kind Donations | He was paralyzed from the neck down. Rocky and his mom Annette, were told by his school that he would be well taken care of through the insurance policy that they carry for all of their students at Eisenhower High School. For almost ten years, Rocky had excellent care with around the clock nurses in his home, access to pain medication, prescription drugs and medical supplies. In August of 2010, Rocky, 26 years old, received a letter that the $5 million insurance policy had reached its lifetime maximum and “has come to an end.” Ms. Clark turned to the government for medical care assistance. This assistance limited the care provided to Rocky. | 22

23: Learning of his story, the Tau Psi Zeta Youth decided to answer the call of service. We contacted Ms. Clark directly to learn what support was needed. We collected over 100 cleaning products and $1,000 in cash donations for the Clark family. Ms. Clark was so appreciative of our support that she has made us apart of the Clark family. While being a part of the Clark family for less then one year, on January 6th, 2012 - Rocky died. | We continue to support the Clark family. | 23
