2: A Harvest of Memories | Our annual trip to Clark's Elioak Farm....and Lucas' first time! | October 8, 2011
3: Mallory loved the old Enchanted Forest attractions and Lucas took a long nap in his stroller | ...and the dish ran away with the spoon.
4: Mallory LOVED the farm animals...especially the goats.

19: The Young School Halloween Party! | Shannen, Nora, Ms. Calandra, Michael, Mallory, Emma, Julian, Ms. Ariel | Mallory was so excited to see Mommy and Daddy and Lucas at her Halloween parade. She ran all the way across the parking lot.
21: Lucas fell asleep before we left our driveway!
24: Mallory had a good time at rehearsal dinner. She gobbled up chocolate mousse and received a bride doll for her flower girl gift!

33: Deck the Halls!
35: Mallory was very excited to meet Santa. When she saw him enter the room she waved . She really surprised us when she willingly climbed into his lap and told him she wanted Thomas books for Christmas.
37: Mallory enjoyed lots of holiday crafts including decorating a "cookies for Santa" plate, painting wood ornaments, and making a beautiful gingerbread house.
39: Where's the snow? We enjoyed a gorgeous day feeding the geese at Centennial Lake in mid-December!
40: Christmas Eve at Nana and Papa Shegogue's house with Aunt Rachel and Uncle Jamie!
43: Mallory left two cookies for Santa -- one from her and one from Lucas. She also left carrots in the front yard for Santa's reindeer.

54: January was a busy month for Mallory. As of the 16th she officially was out of diapers after just two days of training! On the 21st, Mallory was introduced to her big girl bed for the first time. She loves it! | I'm a BIG girl now!

62: ZOO | On March 30th, we spent a cold & rainy day at The Maryland Zoo. Lucas got to pet the goats and Mallory met a penguin.
68: This year we started a new tradition. Mallory buried jelly beans on Easter Eve. When the Easter Bunny visited, he watered her beans with special water. Easter morning Mallory found a sweet surprise had grown from the beans!
69: The Easter Bunny brought Mallory: Paints Shoes Trains Candy Hat DVD Books 'Hi Ho Cheerio' game
79: Aiden's 3rd birthday party had a pirate theme!
80: Mallory's first ever field trip was to Clark's Elioak Farm in May 2012!
83: On May 19th, Mallory declared it was her dalmatian, Woofie's birthday. Since Nana, Papa, Aunt Rachel, and Uncle Jamie were planning to visit to celebrate Mother's Day we celebrated Woofie's big day. | Mallory helped bake and decorate a cake (with spots) and we sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed the gorgeous day!
92: VACATION! | Our 2012 summer vacation began with a long (mostly peaceful) road trip to southern North Carolina. We stayed in a beautiful condo a few blocks from the ocean. Mallory loved choosing her "new" bedroom.
94: After a long car ride, we let the kids stretch their legs and get a glimpse of the ocean. Mallory surprised us when she sat down, fully clothed, in the surf. Lucas fell in love with the sand immediately.

100: The Museum of the Coastal Carolina at Ocean Isle Beach
103: After playing on the beach, we enjoyed an amazing dinner at The Sugar Shack!
105: Mallory did great at mini golf! She even got a hole in one!

108: In preparation for Mallory's cowgirl themed birthday party, we had a photo shoot for her invitations!
113: In August, we visited the Howard County Fair. Mallory loved petting the baby animals. Lucas liked the big cows and goats. We sat on tractors and shared a funnel cake!

125: Mallory's 3rd birthday kicked off with a family donut breakfast, and finished with pizza and ice cream and presents!
126: new traditions | Mallory and Mommy had cheese and chocolate fondue at The Melting Pot to celebrate her birthday!
129: YEE-HAW | Mallory's 3rd birthday party had a western/cowgirl theme. On September 22nd, family and friends joined us for good eats, a themed scavenger hunt, and a gorgeous (and delicious) cake!

140: The weather in late September for Daddy's birthday was warm and sunny! Mallory found dandelions ("blowy things") and Lucas spotted airplanes in the sky.
143: On October 6th, we enjoyed our annual trip to Clark's Elioak Farm and The Enchanted Forest
147: Lucas LOVED the farm animals! Mallory had her very first horse ride on Spice. She was a pro!

156: The party had a tractor theme. There was pumpkin decorating, tractor cupcakes, a pinata, and other activities!

159: On Halloween, Mallory and Lucas paraded and partied with their classmates!
162: Trick or Treat! | Mallory did a great job. She walked right up to the houses herself.
163: Lucas, 15 months 23 lbs, 2 oz (31st) 31.3 in (55th)
164: Lucas got his first haircut at 15 months. He cried until we took off the smock. | Mallory enjoyed her first haircut. She got to trade a lock of hair for a 'prize'. She got a ring and lollipop! | MALLORY | is for | Learning to write is fun!

168: We believe! | Mallory waited patiently in line to sit with Santa and tell him she wanted a Minnie Mouse umbrella for Christmas! Lucas, however, was busy playing with fake snow and reindeer to spend time with Santa.

172: While Lucas napped, Mallory helped decorate the tree. She did a great job! | When Lucas woke, he got his first glimpse of our beautiful tree and was fascinated.
175: On December 23rd, we went to Sesame Place's "A Very Furry Christmas"
178: The kids had a great time at Sesame Place; especially meeting Elmo and Big Bird, the rides, and the parade!

184: Mallory named our elf "Tag Henry". On Christmas Eve, after getting changed into new pajamas, putting out cookies and milk for Santa (and Tag), and throwing carrots into the yard for the reindeer, Mallory waved goodbye to Tag and thanked him for being a silly friend.

190: On December 26th, we had the first small snowfall of the season. We had just enough to sled the hill by the house.
