1: Visiting Cabo San Lucas with Mike & Lisa Erland in January. What a fun, relaxing vacation.!
3: We flopped in the sun for hours every day and strolled into downtown Cabo most evenings. We rented jet skis one day and went to Lover's Beach. FUN
4: Finley joined our family in February, coming from Terra Barrett. We LOVE our long-haired chihuahua. He makes us laugh every day. He blended easily with our other animals.
6: We love our other pets too. . . Nora, Olive, Trigger, and Zane.
8: A big snowfall in February. What fun. . .

10: On March 3, Cousin Ethan turned ONE. He had a super fun birthday party.
11: Our big craft project was making ponchos that the boys wanted so badly. We went to the craft store so that they could each pick out their fabric. And then the cutting began. . . | Brothers are the best | March 31
12: We spent the first part of spring break in April at Meema and Poppy's cabin in Northwoods on Mt. St. Helens.
13: Uncle John, Aunt Kathy, cousins Nick, KC, and Kallie, and Lil Carter all came too.
14: No luck fishing. . . but we sure had fun on the docks.
15: We hiked Eagle's Cliff (a first for Evan and Kallie) and Cedar Flats.

18: While in Portland, Oregon, on our way home from the cabin,we bumped into Jack from the TV show GOLD RUSH ALASKA. He was very nice and offered to autograph pictures for the boys.
19: We ended spring break by visiting OMSI with Nona. The Mysteries of Egypt exhibit was on display. Amazing. | We stayed over in a hotel and swam and swam. . .
20: Corbin got the opportunity to take art classes from local artist Felicia Gray. 4 pieces were entered in a local art fair - all 4 won blue ribbons.! 2 were eligible for State competition. | April
21: Our family could live in the water.
23: We celebrated Easter at the home of Grandpa and Grandma Heffner, as always. We went to a big egg hunt in town and then had another at their house. FUN FUN FUN
24: We played at the park while awaiting the egg hunt. What a gorgeous, warm day.
25: Ella's first REAL egg hunt. . . she did GREAT.
26: The Easter Bunny cake was a fun project for us. A note from the Easter Bunny awaited the kids when we got home, and Easter baskets and eggs were hidden all over our house.

29: Cousins Brittany and Tayler Wells helped celebrate.
30: Grammy and Nona surprised Corbin with a KNIGHT. Amazing. He lives in Corbin's bedroom.

34: There is a lot of dress-up in our home. . . andpoor Trigger often gets dressed up too.
36: Evan has become a super swimmer this year. He progressed from pre-school swim to level 2 in just 3 sessions. He can now swim the width of the pool, coming up to takes breaths. We are so proud of him. What a hard worker.
37: Spring Swimming Lessons | Corbin is an awesome swimmer. He has been in level 5, the final level, for all 3 sessions this year. He is working on perfecting his strokes. | Ella, the pool cheerleader.

42: BACK AT THE CABIN FOR MEMORIAL DAY. . . | Who was there? Meema, Poppy, Nona, Grandpa, Aunt Nikki, her friend Jon, and our family. It was WONDERFUL. | We made paper masks, we did tons of baking, we snuggled, and Meema received some homemade ribbons. Evan sat in Meema's lap as much as possible.
43: It rained and rained and rained and rained. But we played hard outside anyway. We even got caught in a hail storm while coming back from the bridge. CRAZY spring weather, but a FUN FUN trip. | This is how Ella got pushed on her trike. . .
45: The water was WAY out, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the beach.
46: ADVENTURE TIME
47: TWO big events took place on this trip. First, we discovered a lush rain forest area behind the campground that had a lovely waterfall. We took daily hikes to it. Second, Evan learned to ride his bike without training wheels. WOOHOO | BEFORE | DURING | AFTER | HOORAY
48: Another big first. . . a trip to the Ape Caves for our boys. Grandpa Tom, Nikki, and Jon came too. The boys were very brave and did a great job.
49: Spring projects. . . we planted evergreen trees on our side property line, and we planted 5 crab apple trees in our front field. We also redid the flowerbed in front of the shed. Busy Busy
50: I wasn't joking. . . these kids could LIVE quite happily in the pool. We are blessed to have a nice town pool.
51: And now Nona and Grandpa Tom have a pool at their home. . . oh boy. . . here we come

68: A Luau for Ella's 3rd Birthday
70: CAMP LUTHERHAVEN Coeur d'Alene, ID July 24-29 | Corbin and his friend, Nick Lee, went to camp for FIVE days. . . Corbin had so much fun, made new friends, and grew in his relationship with God. Corbin's favorite thing to do at camp was canoeing. He also enjoyed Counselor Isaac's continuing story. A truly amazing adventure for the boys.

73: We had a day of fun and sun at SIlverwood. The Lazy River was the family favorite.
74: Oregon Zoo August 12
75: Clark County Fair August 13 | While Daddy was fishing in Alaska with Uncle Greg, we had a super fun 3 days in Portland with Nona and Grandpa Tom. We hit the Oregon Zoo, Clark County Fair, and had a great day of shopping.
76: Our boys are growing up. Corbin is in 4th grade at Goldendale Primary School. His teacher is Mrs. Tallman. Evan is in pre-school at Goldendale Christian School. His teacher is Mrs. Hunt.
78: Labor Day at Oaks Park Portland, Oregon
79: Then we played at Grandpa and Grandma's house and celebrated Evan's 5th birthday. | Grandpa made Corbin a bayonette. Evan found a caterpillar and named him Fred.
80: EVAN IS 5
81: A successful bow hunt for Tony. . . a big 4x4 buck still in velvet.
83: An amazing soccer season for both boys. . . we had so much fun watching them at every game. So proud. Tony helped coach Evan's team.

87: Paula's 36th Birthday celebrated at Skamania Lodge
88: On November 4, Corbin and Paula got to go on a walking field trip with the 4th grade to our local energy plant. We FROZE but had a ton of fun and learned a lot.
89: Nov. 22 A fundraiser and performance at Goldendale Christian School | the chicken dance | a BIG win in the silent auction
90: We had a huge, wonderful snowfall in mid-November. We thought our snowman was pretty fantastic.
92: December 15 Goldendale Primary School Christmas Program | The 4th graders sang a few songs and even learned to swing dance to one of them. They did an amazing job. Corbin's dance partner was Jade Smith. They were the best dancers by far.
93: The following day we attended the funeral services for Great-Grandpa Dick Gardner. He was a wonderful man who will be very missed. We loved him so much.
94: We had a joyful Christmas celebration with Grandpa and Grandma Heffner. Uncle Charlie, Auntie Audrey, Cousin Ethan, and Uncle Chris were all in on the fun too. | Ethan and Ella love the marble game that came from Paula's grandparents, Harold and Esther Heffner. | Audrey is going to have another boy.
95: December 17 The kids put on a wonderful Christmas Program at our church, Christ the King Lutheran. Corbin was an emperor, soldier, and shepherd. Evan was a soldier and shepherd. Ella was supposed to be an angel and a lamb, but she boycotted the performance. The kids love our church, and our family has enjoyed becoming involved in the youth program. | When the shepards saw the light of the angel, it was so bright that they had to put their shades on. . .
96: Holiday preparations. . . Paula and Nona doing the annual cookie and candy baking. Tony placing the star on our gorgeous tree. The 3 kids in a fit of excitement over Christmas. The same beautiful children dressed up[for Christmas Eve church. WE ARE SO BLESSED

100: Grammy wanted the kids with her on New Year's Eve, and they had a fun time ringing in 2012 with her. Tony and Paula celebrated at the home of Greg Gallagher, along with Rob & Juli RIsing and Clay & Jolie Henry. Good food, good friends, good times.
101: We end 2011 with joy and gratitude. We have good health, wonderful memories, and the love of Christ in our hearts. We look forward to 2012 with much excitement. We have a big trip to Hawaii in store, and we have some family goals to strive toward. Our family is going to experience great things in the New Year.
