Once in a dark night sky, there was a very bright star. It was no ordinary star.
In fact, it was the brightest star in the sky and could be seen from all over the world.
It shined so brightly it could even be seen high above the cityscapes where lights made the sky look gray and sad.
This star was so bright it caught the eye of many who still believed in wishing upon stars. And they would. | kuko | Wunsch
Each night somewhere across the world, someone would cast a silent wish above. Yet, everyone who wished upon the star had each desired something different | wish | deseo | wens
Oh, some wished for a new bike. Or good grades in school Others wished their team would win the next soccer game. Or to be a black belt in karate.
There were some who wished for more money; though some simply wished to have a place to live. Or clean water to drink
Some wished for their cat not to die or for a new puppy! Still others wished for good health. Or love. And some even wished for world peace!
However, there was one couple who shared the same wish. And each evening they would go for a walk. As the day turned into night, just as darkness swallowed the sky and the bright star poked a hole in it, they would each silently cast their wish upon the star.
Each in their own way, but both making the same wish ~ to have a family. | Days and weeks and months and even years went by and still they made the same wish.
All the while, in the deep, dark sky and far into the universe and beyond, the bright star enjoyed bringing light into the lives of so many on Earth.
It listened to the many wishes that were sent its way each night. Though this brought the star great joy, it also brought sadness for it wanted to make each wish come true. It wanted to be able to bring light into people's lives both day and night.
And so it had a wish of its very own that it silently cast upon the millions of stars that formed a blanket around it.
The bright star wished to be on Earth. It, too, wanted to wish upon stars for love and world peace. Or a new bike. Or a soccer team to win. Or a black belt in karate.
It dreamed of shining light into people's lives all the time, not just at night.. And this was its wish for many days and weeks and months and even light years! | This wish cast upon all the other stars in the universe continued until the end of time. Until there was no time.
Meanwhile on Earth, the couple who wished for a family continued their walks into the evening. Hand in hand. Rain or shine. And each continued to wish upon the bright star. (In fact, they even dreamed of a star to wish upon during the day for their wish to be a family did not come only at night.)
Then one evening ~ well into the many days and weeks and months and even years ~ as darkness took over the light and the bright star was about to poke a hole into the night sky, both were about to silently cast their collective wish when they saw a shooting star glide gracefully across the darkness, creating a rainbow of many bright and magnificent colors.
s | In that moment, that very moment, they knew their wish was finally going to come true!
Later that night, they welcomed their little one into this world for the very first time.!
