Dear Expectant parent(s), Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our family. We can only imagine the amount of emotions you are feeling at this time. Please know how much we respect you and admire your courage in this process. We realize that your decision will be made out of great love for your child. As a family we are praying for you, for God's peace, strength and love to be in you and with you every step of the way. God gave Adam & I the desire to adopt when we were dating during high school. After having our daughter naturally, we experienced difficulty becoming pregnant again. At that time, friends of ours had recently adopted 2 children through Bethany and they shared their experiences with us. We spent the next few months praying and talking with each other, and our families, about adoption. Since it was already a desire for us, we knew this was God's timing. Shortly after we began the process with Bethany, we were chosen by our son's birthmom. The adoption of our son has been a tremendous blessing in our lives! We are now hoping to experience this blessing again and add another precious little one to our family. Our children are very excited to have another brother or sister to love. We hope that as you look at this book you will see who we are individually & as a family. Grace & Peace, Adam, Andrea, Eliana & Micah
Adam & I met our Junior year of high school and we became great friends. We started dating at the beginning of our Senior year and two years later, in 1999, we were married. It's hard to believe it's been 12 years already! Both of us are very thankful that we found each other and that we were blessed to be able to marry our best friend. As a couple, we love to have "date nights" and enjoy trying new restaurants, going to movies, or having coffee together at a bookstore. We go to an amazing non denominational church that we love and we are both involved in ministries there. Our faith in God is the foundation for our marriage and family. We feel blessed to be living this life together!
Adam, 32, is an all around great man. He is smart, devoted, honest, funny, kind & loving. Adam went to Western and graduated with a Business degree. He currently works from home as a consultant for a treasury company. Adam's greatest priorities are God and his family. He is always there for the people in his life. Our children are so blessed to have him as a daddy. He loves to spend time with them playing, laughing, helping with homework, going to dance and soccer and many other things. He is very involved in our church and serves regularly as an usher. Adam loves playing softball and golf every summer and going to Tiger's baseball games and Uof M football games. | Andrea, 31, is a God-loving and devoted woman. She loves her family and friends and enjoys spending time with them. She is currently a stay at home mom and does a great job raising our two beautiful children. Andrea is kind, loving, creative, smart, patient and a great listener. Those qualities, along with many others, make her the best mom and wife our family could ask for. She loves family vacations and trips to the park. Also, very important to her is her church family, she serves as a Kindergarten teacher in the children's ministry. Andrea enjoys reading, being creative and cooking yummy meals for all of us to enjoy.
Eliana (or Elle) is our first miracle. She is 7 and will be in 3rd grade. If we had to describe her in one word, it would be loving. Elle has a very compassionate and caring personality. She loves many different things including dance, soccer, swimming, reading, playing with friends and going to sporting events with dad. She really enjoys school and going to AWANA and Sunday school at church. We love that she can be a "girly" girl and the next minute she's cheering for her favorite baseball team! We encourage her interest in different things. Elle loves animals and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
Eliana is a wonderful big sister and loves her little brother very much. She is so excited for another sibling and prays every night for the new baby.
Our second miracle is Micah, he's 2. The best word to describe him is joyful. He has the best and biggest smile. His smiles and his laugh are contagious. Micah is full of energy and curiosity. He loves to run, jump, dance and play with his sister. Some of his favorite things are trains, cars, trucks, airplanes and anything musical. Everyone that meets Micah is captivated by his personality. He is a true gift! | Micah joined our family through adoption. We brought him home from the hospital the day after he was born. Words cannot express how grateful we feel to have been given this amazing gift. We prayed that God would bring us a second child and he answered our prayers with this beautiful boy. At this point, his birthmom has chosen to have no contact. However, we would welcome a relationship with her in the future.
All things grow better with love.

We have lived in our cozy, comfortable three bedroom house for nine years. It has a great yard for the kids to play in . | Our house is on a quiet street in a small, family friendly community. There are sidewalks for riding bikes and taking walks. We're in walking distance to a playground and our downtown area. We love visiting Andrea's parents, who live only two blocks away.

Andrea's oldest brother lives in California and visits a couple times a year. Her middle brother and his family live a couple hours away from us. Her youngest brother lives in Florida. We see him when we go to Florida on vacation and when he comes home to visit. | We each have large extended families that we visit with often including grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. | Thanksgiving 2010 | Nonna & Eliana
Adam's parents live six months in Florida and six months at a campground ten minutes from our house. The kids love playing with Grandma & Papa at the campground. | Hugging Auntie | Grandma with the kids in Florida | On Papa's boat
Adam's sister and brother in law live only ten minutes away and we see each other regularly. | Adam's brother and his family live a couple miles from us and the kids love having their cousins close enough to play with. | LOVE | Cousins! | Eliana & Uncle Matt
A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace.
We will do our best to provide a loving, stable and nurturing home filled with love and laughter. We guide our children to be respectful and to appreciate diversity. It is important to us that they are given a Christian foundation that will support these values. We pray that you are comforted in this difficult decision. Thank you for considering us as a family for your baby. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
