24: Merry Christmas! Year 2011 has been a joyful year filled with God’s many blessings. I do not have any crazy vacations stories for you this year, but I’m sure I’ll probably have some next year. We did take a couple camping trips this year. One to Door County to visit Laurie’s Aunt and Uncle Nell and family. We took another camping trip up north by Copperfalls State Park with some of Jason’s family. Jason continues to work the same job. Jason stays busy fixing cars, tinkering with small engines, finishing our house, wrestling with the boys, and gun and bow hunting. This year he shot two deer during gun season. His most recent hobbies include golfing and going to Packer games (2x this year). Laurie enjoys working one day a week at The Riverfront Dentist in West Bend. Laurie stays busy gardening, biking, running, cleaning up after the boys Gavin is now 4 years old and Garrett is now 3. They are very close brothers and best of friends. They like to play, wrestle, and argue. They like most of the same things: tractors, playing outside, camping, reading books, helping Dad fix things, and helping mom cook and garden. They stay busy with Sunday School, story/activity hour at the library, and nature hour at the local DNR station. We do have an addition to our family this year. We now have three outdoor cats. Yes, I agree that is a lot of cats! The boys named them Squirmy, Kuku, and Spot. We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a new year full of God’s blessings. Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas, our dear Savior’s birth. Jason, Laurie, Gavin, and Garrett Pickering
