1: Helen, It has been remarkable to see you grow this past year. You've taken your first steps, talk in conversations, dance, swim, and light up each day for us. We have been though a lot as a family and through it all, you continue to show us how resilient you are and teach us how we should all face life's challenges – with a smile. We love you. Dad and Mom | spring is here!
2: Cut the Cake! | We celebrated the day with friends and family coming to our house for a cook out and cake. You even made the news! You loved your cake and your new toys.
4: Helen loves to try to do things herself and loves being outside. She loves hot dogs, cheese, and yogurt. | Summer 2009

6: Helen gets into everything. We especially have to watch her around the goldfish crackers! | First bike from Uncle Joe
7: Helen & Helen at Lake Helen | Happy Girl! | Helen brought so much joy to a scary time for Mom. After the cancer diagnosis and surgery, Helen was extremely patient and offered a lot of comic relief. We still managed to have lots of fun before summer ended.
8: Helen's First Steps 09/30/09
9: Helen is mobile and loves to practice walking. She quickly learns how much fun it is to walk everywhere. She also loves to nod yes to whatever you ask her. She's a very agreeable child!
10: Halloween 2009
13: Fall 2009 began the hectic time of our move to Kenesaw! Helen did great with the transition!
15: We were snowed in for 5 days over Christmas
16: Helen starts sleeping in her big girl bed in her new room January 2010.
