So don't give up MOM,you have a journey to finish. Work to be done and days to go on. Be there to do it, as it's GOD'S WILL, not ours. HE'S given you much, and much more for you to do. So keep on giving as long as it takes. GOD gives us thankful hearts for yesterday. Faithful hearts for today. and trusting hearts for tomorrow. We love you MOM, thanks for the treasures that you have shared and the love that you've given.

TO THE WOMAN WHO HAS GIVEN ALL HER LIFE AND CONTINUES TO GIVE HER GIFT OF LOVE THROUGH THE MAKING OF EACH AFGHAN THAT SHE CONTINUES TO SEW OR STITCH. IT'S LIKE JACQUE SAID, "IT'S AN ACT OF LOVE AND A SPECIAL GIFT." A GIFT THAT NONE OF US CAN PUT A PRICE TAG ON! THE AFGHANS MAY EACH BE THERE OWN CHALLENGE TO YOU, BUT YOU CONTINUE TO WORK AND KEEP YOUR MIND GOING DESPITE THE ESSENTIAL TREMORS. YOUR STRENGTH AND COURAGE IS A REMARKABLE ASSET THAT I HOPE TO HAVE SOMEDAY. YOU ARE STRONG AND HAVE PERSERVERED MANY THINGS IN YOUR LIFE, YOU DON'T GIVE UP EASILY. IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN'T, IT GIVES YOU ALL THE MORE STRENGTH TO DO IT. THEY TOLD YOU THAT YOU WOULDN'T WALK AGAIN AND YOU PROVED THEM WRONG MORE THEN ONCE. YOU ARE TALENTED IN MANY THINGS, BUT RIGHT NOW, IT HAPPENS TO BE YOUR GIFT OF LOVE THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN EACH OF US THROUGH THE MAKING OF THE AFGHANS. YOU DO WHAT YOU CAN WITH THE HELP OF GOD. I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO GIVE THE WAY YOU HAVE GIVEN. I'M GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE TAUGHT ME. THE LOVE AND THE GIVING OF YOURSELF IS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF MOM. WE LOVE YOU!! SHELLI, LARRY, AND COBIE PHILIPPIANS 2:14; 4:6 AND 13 ; ROMANS 5: 3-5

50: ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shelli Schuster lives with her husband and their dog Cobie up in God's country in North Dakota and very close to the Canadian border. She is the distinguished author of books such as: My Thumbody Temptation, The Man In My Dreams, Me Thumbody Ginger, The Schusters Night Before Christmas, The Travelers Punch, The Perfect Day in Middle School Through the Eyes of Amelia Helen Robinson, The Mystery of the VTC Hat, The Dreaded Vacation or Was It, The Obsolete Teacher Takes Final Trip Out of Edinburg Public School 2009-2010, and now My Mom's God Guided Creations and many excellent poems. Rachelle Norma Schuster grew up in the small community of Thompson, North Dakota. She is the third child of Helen and the late James Robinson. While growing up she enjoyed playing school and had imaginary friends that she would get and extra pop for. She is noted for her imagination and writing short stories when inspired. She attributes her writing abilities from her Aunt Norma Rittal. (Namesake and another well known author.) She helped in the house and the garden. Shelling peas seemed to be a favorite as I think she ate more of them then she ever had in the dish. She now walks with her dog Cobie and helps herself to the peas in the Monson Garden. The job that she recalls the most is working in the potato fields for Lydell Sannes. It was long hours, but she enjoyed it probably because of the static she got while working there that made it the most fun. In college she worked under the work study program that the college had. She gives credit to her dad for talking her into going to college. She also feels that she followed her mother's footsteps in teaching, but not book keeping or sewing abilities. God evidently knew what he was doing there too! College life was never boring. Her parents were always there for her whenever she needed anything. Her very first car was purchased from a neighbor with payments to him. ( She use to sell cream and eggs with him on Saturdays for 50 cents a day.) It was a 1975 Chevy Impala. She worked in the summers at the Migrant Program in Thompson. She went to college and became a teacher. Her mother taught in the same area as she started teaching, which is a unique trait to take after her mother. She taught in the Edinburg School system since 1980. She taught fifth grade plus combinations of other things with it, until the fall of 2002. She started teaching the Title 1 program there with some 3rd, 4th,5th grade reading or math and also 7th and 8th grade English , Study Skills , and Art. In the fall of 2010 the school reconsoladated and she now currently teaches Title 1 at Crystal. She attributes her job to God's work. She enjoys working with children. Her goal for every year that she has taught is to have accomplished even a SMALL feat with the children in some form. She is very happy to see the CLICK sign go on for the students when they finally understand what they have been taught. She enjoys spending time at home with her husband, going for walks with him and the dog. She enjoys doing anything outside rather than inside. She enjoys good books, being with family, and long visits with good friends. She isn't much of a traveler, but she will go. She enjoys camping, writing short stories, and telling things the way they are. She does like to cook when she knows what she is going to make.

51: I like to take photos and dream dreams of what is at the end of the rainbow. | Remember MOM the angels from above are still pushing you to do more!!
