20: Returning to the hotel, my grandchildren and I were marching in step to the music coming from the loud speakers along our route. As we marched, I was singing away to the music. We stopped for a brief rest in Downtown Disney when Joey looked at me and asked, "Grandma, do you know ALL the Disney songs?" I had to laugh for I think I know all that came from my youth and the youth of their dads. I can remember having Vince and Vern learn "The Mickey Mouse Club Song" before their first visit to the Magic Kingdom. I love sharing these special moments with my grandchildren. Priceless memories.

30: A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to and including THEIR LIFE."

31: At the end of our tour a knarly salt of a sailor met the questions of the boys with some facts and figures that startled them...when he was finished, Tony put his arms around this old veteran and said, "Thank you." Tears welled up in this old crusty seaman's eyes, "Not many have said that son." I guess that is why I never fail to thank a veteran or man or woman in uniform - for they are willing to give ALL.

53: A father is like a lighthouse standing tall above the sea's. When the storms of life come crashing in, the light from your father you'll see.
