FC: Brad & Angela
Dear Expectant Parents, Hello! We're Brad and Angela. We've been together for 10 years, happily married for 5 years, and are looking forward to becoming first time parents through adoption. We've always wanted children and since we're not able to have children biologically, we know that God has chosen the path of adoption for us. We truly believe this is the way we were meant to build our family. We've never written a letter like this before, and to be honest with you, we're pretty nervous and are not quite sure of the right things to say, so we'll just speak from our hearts. We hope that if you chose to continue to turn the pages of this book, you will get a glimpse at who we are, who we love, and the life we live. We believe in family and want your child to have many opportunities. We are financially stable and our home is ready to welcome your child as the newest member of our family. We value the importance of education, and your child will be encouraged to pursue his/her interests and develop their passions. It will be important to us to share information about you so your child will be raised feeling proud of who he or she is, and will always know that the decision you made was one of love. With that said, we will respect your comfort level when it comes to the amount of openness you desire. We're very excited to begin the journey toward parenthood and would feel blessed to provide your child with two devoted parents and a loving home through open adoption. Warmly, Brad & Angela
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share with you our hopes & dreams for a family. Perhaps the future we envision will be one you want for your child, too. We dream of baking Christmas cookies together & snuggling up close at bedtime to read books. We imagine looking up in the night sky to name the constellations. We look forward to working on school projects at the dining room table and making homemade applesauce from the apples on our tree. Most of all, we dream about celebrating the everyday joys of being together.

I’m a Financial Analyst at a well-known and respected bank and enjoy working in the downtown metro Milwaukee area. I’ve been with my employer for 11 years and enjoy the many friendships I’ve made over the years there. My co-workers are like family and are very excited to help Brad & me welcome a child into our lives. When the time comes that we are able to welcome a child into our home, I will be taking a 3 month leave from work so that I can spend every moment bonding with our child. | Brad about Angela: Angela has a big heart. She cries during commercials. She's fun and funny and smart. She'll go to the end of the earth to make something happen. She's taken the raw, wacky materials from her childhood and created a beautiful life. Angela is patient and kind. Angela will teach our child about unconditional love and respect for others. She'll teach them self-confidence, and independence. She will show them how to be an individual and follow their own path, even if it is not the path that is the most “popular.†I know she will be a wonderful mom!
About Brad... I enjoy photography, drawing, sports (especially football, baseball & car racing), frogs & turtles, reading, working in the yard & on our house, music, nature and old movies. | Playing baseball with our friends' children. | Hiking in Nevada | Exploring Hawaii
I’'m self employed as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Health/Wellness Coach for 12 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in 1996. I work with children and adults of all ages, including high school athletes and the elderly. Over the past 2 years I’'ve been involved in a study that tests the effects of exercise on people who suffer from Alzheimer’s and other debilitating diseases. I enjoy helping my clients achieve their personal goals and am excited to help people improve their self-esteem and quality of life in the process. | Angela about Brad: Brad is a total boy, meaning he'’s not afraid to roll up his sleeves, take on a tough project and get his hands dirty. With that being said, he'’s also the most well-groomed, meticulous guy I’ve ever met and I love that! He's creative and likes to tackle seemingly impossible projects. Brad is intelligent and creative. He is honest and fair. Brad has a lot to offer a child and will be a great teacher, as he loves to learn and listen. I envision him teaching your child compassion for animals, the elderly, and people less fortunate than us. He'’ll teach them to love all of God’'s creatures - big & small. He’'ll teach them about nature and sports and science and God. Brad is a man who will do the right thing, even when no one'’s looking. There'’s no doubt in my mind Brad will be a fantastic dad.
Our Home... We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a quiet suburban community about 15 minutes from Milwaukee. Our neighborhood is safe and family friendly with lots of children and great schools. Our home is about 5 minutes from beautiful Lake Michigan, so there are always families riding their bikes, roller blading, and walking their dogs near our home.
Our home is 2,000 square feet and offers plenty of room for a little one to grow and play. Our favorite part of our home is the large back yard - perfect for running, jumping rope, playing sports, and campfires (we love roasting marshmallows!). We've planted many vegetables in our yard and look forward to making homemade baby food from the organic food we grow. | Family Room (Future play room!) | Our back yard
We met in 2001. Brad was Angela's personal trainer. Angela had a huge crush! We've had a loving, fun, committed relationship ever since. We were married on September 9, 2006. | "Tattoos" with our niece & nephew at Disney World
Parenting... We're not parents yet and how we parent will of course depend on the unique personality and needs of the child, but here's what we envision: We will raise her to be a person who speaks up for what's right, is creative and thinks outside the box, empathizes with others, finds strength in the face of any difficulty life throws her way. We'll keep him close to us, physically and emotionally, providing love and support so he can expand into the person he’'s meant to be. We'’ll be directly involved in her education, ensuring that what she learns is enriching and empowering. As parents, a college education is very important to us, and plan on giving her every opportunity for educational advancement. Based on our love and respect for each other, our child will learn to love and respect herself. We'll teach him to appreciate other cultures, preparing him to be the type of person who can relate to all kinds of people in this constantly changing world. In our family your child will be nurtured with love, laughter, creativity and joy!
 FRIENDS, FAMILY & FUN...
 Our brother-in-law & Angela's sister
Weâ'€™ll give your child every opportunity that we had and then some. We'll love them unconditionally, send them to college, and support them at home. They will never have to question our devotion, and more importantly, will never have to question yours. They will always know how very much you wanted the best for them and how you chose us to help make that happen. We hope that if you decide to build an adoption plan, you will consider making us a part of it.
