S: Jeffries Family.... We're in this Together
BC: Once there were two women who never knew each other. One you do not remember, the other you call Mother. Two different lives shaped to make you one. One became your guiding star, the other became your sun. The first one gave you life, and the second taught you to live it. The first one gave you a need for love The second was there to give it. One gave you nationality. The other gave you a name. One gave you talent. The other gave you aim. One gave you emotions. The other Calmed your fears. One saw your first sweet smile. The other dried your tears. One sought for you a home that she could not provide. The other prayed for a child and her hope was not denied. And now you ask me, through your tears, the age-old question unanswered through the years. Heredity or environment, which are you a product of? Neither, my darling. Neither. Just two different kinds of Love. -Author Unknown
1: Dear Birth Mother, As I write this letter to you, I am picturing you sitting there with your hands on your growing tummy. I think that as the moments pass by, you are full of wonder & hope for the future of your growing miracle. I can understand this feeling of wonder and hope. Going through the adoption journey, we dream of the future of our potential blessing. What will this baby look like, will it be a boy or a girl, will it love to read or play the piano? Preparing for the new life that is about to enter this world is something we also have in common, and wanting the absolute best for them. So many things in life are uncertain, but one we can assure you of, is that any baby that we are blessed with will have absolutely everything we can offer. Most importantly an unconditional love, time, support, encouragement and all of the hugs and kisses we can possibly give! The baby will be raised to understand how incredible its birth mother is to have done the most selfless thing possible. We thank you for considering us and we will be praying for you and your miracle no matter which home you choose. God Bless you with love, Jennifer & John Ryan Jeffries

4: I wish there were an easier way to describe what an amazing man I am married to. I am so incredibly blessed to call him my husband. Every time we would go through a tragedy, whether in the family or in our numerous attempts at starting a family, we have been each other's rock. I never in my life thought a love this strong existed. "If the Lord brings you to it, he will pull you through it." That is the truth. My husband of 8 years walked into my life and forever changed me and I cannot wait for him to do the same for our child! | Meet my husband, John Ryan. This man walked into my life over 9 years ago and he forever changed me. The saying, "opposites attract" definitely described us when we met. He was the country boy that made plans and followed them to a T and I was the outgoing girl that would fly by the seat of my pants and go with anything, anytime. Over a short time we both knew what an amazing love we had. We realized how to embrace each other's qualities to make us both better people because we complimented each other's strengths and weaknesses. John Ryan is of course an amazing, loving and dedicated husband. He lives for his family and friends. Anytime someone calls on him, day or night he is there. I have never met a more hard working man in my entire life. No matter the project, he does it 100% and the same goes into his family and faith. I cannot tell you how many times he has to stop and chit chat on our way through the grocery store to people he hasn't seen in a while. I love to tease him about how our child will never get away with anything because I feel like if he isn't related to part of the people in this county then he is most likely friends with the rest! If I were asked to describe what activity describes him best, I would have to say "outdoors". Anything he can find to do outside rather than in the house, he is on it! Whether it may be tinkering in the garage, messing with the garden, working on his dirt bike, fishing, hunting or just mowing the grass! Sometimes I think he is worse than a little kid! Our house is the neighborhood gathering spot most of the time. John Ryan is the grill master and I cook up the rest. We love to visit with our friends and family on the front porch and watch all the kids run around the yard playing tag or decorating our concrete with their amazing artwork drawn out of chalk. During the summertime we breakout the slip n' slide or you will catch John Ryan giving tractor rides to the kids. I think he laughs just as hard as they do. It makes me smile just thinking about it. | Lets Go Riding!

6: Meet my wife, Jennifer. Jen and I met over 9 years ago. She blew into my life an exciting, spontaneous, beautiful woman. I knew in my heart she was the one I wanted to share the rest of my life with very quickly. She is the best thing to ever happen to me. Friends and family are very important to Jen. She is always there for them, and if help is needed she is the first to step forward and volunteer. She spends a lot of time volunteering on the committee for the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life. She has the kindest heart of anyone I know. Jen's contagious smile lights up a room no matter the occasion. No matter how dark the day is, she can always find a positive in the negative to calm the situation. One word to best describe Jen is "creative". She loves to take pictures, craft with the kids, create fundraising projects for different causes, and throwing bridal and baby showers. She is always taking our friends and family's kids to the park for picnics or swimming. She loves to have gatherings surrounded by all of our family and friends with their kids such as pumpkin carving at Halloween, egg coloring for Easter, or just dancing it out like a goof-ball in the living room and the kids love her for it! I feel so very blessed to have Jen in my life. She is a very kind, generous, and fun loving person. I thank God for the day she walked into my life. She has so much love to give and I cannot wait to see her love and kindness through the eyes of our child! | Snowed in and loving it!

8: This is my family... My mom and dad (Thalia & John) were high school sweet hearts that got married on May 24, 1980. They raised me and my two younger brothers (Cody 25 & Garett 20) to be the strong people we are today. They taught me to have strong family values and an unfading work ethic. I know without a doubt in my mind that my family, including my aunts, uncles and cousins, will continue to be here for our new family as long as they are here on earth. | John Ryan's AMAZING Family! | Mom & Dad with Tobey & Tuff | Papa Denzil | Grandma & Grandpa Jeffries | Hysterical Cody | Fun Loving Garett | Mom & Dad

10: This is my crazy family.... My mom and dad fell in love and were married on April 12, 1971. My family started with my two older siblings, Andrea 31, Dewey 29 and I. In 1992 my dad passed away. We knew how important it was to stick together no matter what. My mother is my rock; she always knows what to say when someone is in need of a smile. In 1998 she was faced with an incredible decision, five of our cousins; Todd now aged 32, Audra 29, Nicki 24, Chelsea 21 & Joey 16, had just lost both of their parents within a very short amount of time. My mother knew without a doubt she needed to take them in as a family so they wouldn't be separated. One single mother had just landed a house with 8 kids! I don't know how she did it to this day, but I am here to prove she did! Though our family has its imperfections, it never lacks love and character. The importance of giving even when you feel you have nothing to give was always shown as an example.
