1: William Smith | William Smith was born in Kentucky in the month of October between 1863 and 1867 in Scott County per a 1876 census.
2: Mary E. Adkins | Mary E. Adkins was born in May 1880 in Sadieville, Kentucky to the parents of Henry (Virginia) and Bettie Adkins (b. February 1842). Henry and Bettie married in 1875 and remained married for 25 years until 1900. They had 4 children from the union that included: William Mary E. John Millard as per the 1900 Census.
4: William and Mary E. Smith | It is believed that William and Mary met while he was a boarder living in Sadieville working as a Railroad laborer with Mary's father in 1900. He was 37 and she was 20 years old. After marriage the union produced two sons William "Frank" Smith and Oscar Smith
6: William "Frank" Smith | William Frank Smith was born on in Sadieville, Kentucky to the parents of William and Mary E. Adkins Smith. At the age of 16 after the death of his mother Frank his father and younger brother moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where he met his wife to be Hazel Mason 13 at the time was the daughter of Howard and Capatoli B. Mason

12: Oscar Smith | Oscar Smith was born June 9, 1905 as the second son to William and Mary E. Adkins Smith. After relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio with his father and older brother in 1920. Oscar then met Ruth Bedford the daughter of Samuel and Lucy Bedford. They married by J. Otis Waithcox on January 6, 1926 he was 23 years of age and she was 22. From their union they were the parents of four children Lucy Florence Smith John Oscar Smith Arzelia Ruth Smith Mary Alcenia Smith
14: Ruth Coleman Bedford Smith | Ruth Coleman Bedford was born on October 6, 1903 in Colorado she was raised by Samuel and Lucy F. Bedford. According to a 1920 census Ruth was shown as daughter enumerated in the family of Lucy F. Bedford, at the time she was 17 years of age. She married Oscar Smith in 1926, they eventually settled in at 1984 Kinney Ave, the community of Evanston in Cincinnati, Ohio. A contract for the property was entered into on February 14, 1957 for the purchase price of $8,500 the couple put a deposit of $500.00 down. They continued to make monthly payments until April 15, 1967 when they were finally able to obtain a loan from Lockland Building and Loan for the amount of $5,750.00
16: Children of Oscar & Ruth Smith | Lucy F. Smith | Lucy Florence Smith was born on October 7, 1926 and died on October 25, 2008. As the first child of Oscar and Ruth Smith. Lucy graduated from Woodward High School. She worked as a licensed practical nurse working with students and adults throughout the Cincinnati area. She was married twice to James Duncan and Ernest Flanigan. Lucy never had children. She joined Union Baptist Church in 1947 and was a member of the Usher board, Drama guild, Senior Ministry, Spirimelodaires, served as Church Clerk and was a member of Eastern Stars and Red Hat Society.
18: John O. Smith | John Oscar Smith was the second child of Oscar and Ruth Smith he was born on July 14, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and died July 15, 2009. John joined and served in the military in March of 1946 as a private in the Air Corps. John never married or had children. He worked at General Electric in Evendale, Ohio he worked for GE for 40 years and retired to Columbus Ohio
20: Arzelia Ruth Smith Williams | Arzelia Ruth Smith was born on March 27, 1930 as the third child to Oscar and Ruth Smith. She graduated from Woodward High School and was secretary with the Cincinnati Public Schools and City of Cincinnati Prosecuters office for over 35 years. Know as Arz, she married Scott Williams and had two children Daryl Anthony Smith and Angela Michelle Williams. Arzelia was the backbone of her family always there to assist or set the situation straight. She adored her grandchildren Tiffini, Simeone and Moriah and loved to travel and eat crab legs. She was a member of Union Baptist Church since a child until later joining Greater Liberty Baptist Church, her church was a major part of her life and she served in many capacities. Arzelia died July 21. 2001

22: Mary Alcenia Smith | Mary Alcenia Smith was born ,1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio as the youngest child of Oscar and Ruth Smith. Mary graduated from Woodward High School and went to work for the Cincinnati Public Schools until her death in May of 1978. Mary was the proud mother of Sharron Elaine Smith and the grandmother to Wesley Owen Williams. Mary was a lifelong member of Union Baptist Church and served on the Usher board. Mary was a excellent seamstress and cook, she will always be remembered for her Christmas trees and cakes during the holiday season. She left us all too soon at the age of 45.
24: Millard (Atkins) Adkins | Millard Adkins was born the youngest child of Henry and Bettie Adkins in Sadieville, Kentucky. His sister Mary was married to William the parents of Frank and Oscar Smith. Millard moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and married Carrie she was 19 and he was 22 years of age. Millard served in the military and from their union in 1911 was born Marie Atkins.
