14: About Bob: by Melissa | Bob is truly my best friend and the love of my life. He is someone I can count on when times are tough and celebrate with when good news comes our way. What I love the most about Bob is his sense of humor. I can remember back in high school when he would leave funny notes in | Bob completed his associates degree in computer science and is a PC Network Technician for a NJ public school district. He is extremely dedicated to his work and enjoys the opportunity to utilize new technology on a daily basis. We are very lucky that he has found a career he loves that also provides enough financial stability to allow me to stay home with our child. I joke that Bob is a man of many hobbies including spending time with friends, working on the house, and catching the latest super hero movie. He’s a food network enthusiast and has taken to cooking up some very tasty dinners. Recently, he’s embraced a healthier lifestyle that includes nightly walks along the boardwalk with our dog Avery. On the weekends, he enjoys restoring antique cars with his dad. Bob was definitely born to be a dad. His dedication to his family is incredible and I know it will only strengthen as our family grows. While some men might try to run away from stinky diapers and sleepless nights, he’s ready for the challenge! | my locker to make me smile between classes. Occasionally he’ll still hide a napkin note in with my lunch.
15: About Melissa: by Bob | I know everyone says this, but when I first met Melissa, I knew she was the one. Fast forward over 13 years later, and I am blessed to be able to say that I married my best friend. Melissa is my foundation. She is the strongest, most loving, and most driven person I have ever met. Melissa is the only person in my life that can make me laugh in any situation, and I find solace in knowing that she is always there to support me and comfort me. | Melissa has degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education. As a little girl, she always dreamed of becoming a teacher. She returned to school few years ago to complete her Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration in an effort to open additional doors at the supervisory level within the public school setting. While she loved working in the educational environment, she’s recently taken a full time position as the head infant room teacher at a local child care center. The emotional bond she has with her students is awe-inspiring. Melissa has become what I jokingly refer to as, a craft-a-holic. In high school she was all about taking pictures and scrapbooking. While her love of photography still reigns supreme, she’s also added i looming, crocheting, and machine sewing to her craftiness. One evening, I came home to find she’d sewn new living room curtains thanks to a youtube tutorial. She also reupholstered a very loved rocking chair for the nursery that’s been handed down through the family. While I know Melissa loves the children she works with dearly, I can tell she’s counting down the minutes to becoming a mom. Some women may cringe at the term ‘soccer mom’ but I know that Melissa is excited to embrace the role!
