BC: Beloved

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall one will lift up her friend. For woe to her who is alone when she falls and has not another to lift her up. | Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Friendship is a treasured gift, and every time I talk with you I feel as if I'm getting richer and richer.

 From Stephanie

Thank you for the encouragement you have given to me. Thank you for reaching out to me and taking the time to get to know me and allowing me to get to know you. Thank you for praying with me and for me. Thank you for allowing me to constantly peg you with questions about motherhood every time we are in the nursery together. You are truly a woman of God. Your joy is infectious and your inward and outward beauty is apparent. I am looking forward to seeing how God will use you in this new phase of your life! Your Friend, Stephanie | Dear Lauren, I am grateful to the Lord for our friendship. What a blessing it is! Even though you are moving, I want to remain friends. True friends like you are a rare gift, and I want our friendship to continue!

From Erin | Dear Lauren, It seems like only yesterday that we were introduced to your sweet family. I remember how tiny Hannah Grace was and how excited we all were to get acquainted with new friends! It has been such a blessing to grow alongside you for these past few years. You encourage me as a wife and (Lord willing) future mother, and I am abundantly grateful for your friendship. In these last few months especially, God has made Himself known to me through living life more closely with you and through the prayers that we've shared for and with each other. How wonderful God has been to answer us and bless our time together! You are a beautifully honest, loving, sincere, and passionate woman of God. I love the fact that you and your family strive to be healthy and balanced people, but you are also honest enough to be transparent through the times that are not so healthy and balanced. Thank you for sharing life and coming alongside me as a sister in Christ. Your support has challenged me and lifted me up in each moment that I needed it. I love you dearly and I hope you know that I will continue to lift up you and your family. I will pray most especially for your transition and your new life and ministry at Fort Bragg. I look forward to praising God for the amazing work that He is going to do in and through you! Your Friend, Erin

Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.

 From Jeanna

Dear Lauren, You are such a sweet spirit to be around. I regret not making more time to spend with you and your family. I recall when I first got to know you...... when Chris and I were teaching the Shepherding A Child’s Heart class. You and Michael brought so much wisdom and honesty to our discussions. Your daughters are such a beautiful example of the great parents that you are. We hope you will come back to visit – and often. At least we can have things like Facebook so we can continue to watch the girls grow and see all the wonderful things God will do with their lives and yours. Your whole family will be greatly missed. Best wishes and keep in touch. Your sister in Christ -- Jeanna

Lauren, So many words come to mind when I think of you: organic, healthy, blogs, beautiful, organized, sewing, breast feeding, montessori, perfectionist, minimalist, creative, intelligent, incredible mother, godly, sweet, passionate, and most of all, FRIEND. I am so glad the Lord brought you into my life. I love that you are never afraid to stand up for what you believe in and I love your passion for learning. You have taught me so much! I am so excited for you and your journeys ahead. You (and Michael) are going to have such an impact on the military community. I can't wait to hear the stories! I know the Lord has incredible plans for you! Thank you for always being honest and sharing how the Lord has brought you this far. You are an amazing person and I look forward to getting to know you more, even if it's from a distance. (Maybe we can meet up at Holiday World or Paoli Peaks sometime soon.) I love you! Bethany

 From Bethany | Indiana Girls

Dear Lauren, The first memory that I have of us together was driving around to different consignment sales one Saturday morning. We shared in those few hours so much life together. I knew immediately that the Lord had blessed me with an amazing woman in my life and I did not want to miss out on one single moment! You are incredibly passionate about so much and it is that passion that draws people to you...Passion for your family, your home, good food, education, creativity, friends, the church and above all...God’s Word. I appreciate your honesty and transparency in the highs and lows of your life and it has encouraged me to be the same to others. I have benefitted so much from just your listening ear and prayers for my life. I hope that as you are moved around being a military family that we do not lose touch. I hope to hear of all the incredible things that God is going to do through you as you begin a new life at Fort Bragg. I am so grateful to have family close by so that we can visit you as much as we can!!!

From Tara | Caleb is going to miss Hannah Grace so much! I can’t tell you what a blessing she is to us and to him. I have loved watching them grow a friendship at such a young age! Maybe their friendship is just beginning and hasn’t quite reached its end! I hope to one day see your legacy lived out through her as she matures into a Godly, passionate woman like her mother. I am so thankful that the Lord allowed us to walk and grow together in this season of our lives. We love you all so much! Tara

“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.”

Lauren, When I think about your time here with us, the quote to the left immediately comes to mind. You might have only been with us for a short time, but you have undoubtedly left a huge impression on each of our lives. I know I will not be the same for having known you. As you continue to live your life and raise your family as a part of the military I’m sure you will come in and out of many people’s lives. What I hope you always remember is that everywhere you go you leave your testimony behind, your testimony which blesses, encourages, and challenges the women who are fortunate enough to spend even a moment with you. Your love for your family and your commitment to raise godly children in a godly home is such an encouragement. I hope to remain in touch (and I’m so thankful for that ability through technology!) and I can’t wait to see those girls grow in age and in Christ. You are an amazing mother and woman of God. Love, Meg | From Meagan

 From Molly

Dear Lauren, I have loved every moment that we have shared together these past few years! So many memories come to mind it is hard to narrow down. But, in almost every memory or story, I remember your laugh! Laughing with you brightens my day. I also cherish the night we met for coffee at the Daily Grind and got to know each other on a deeper level by sharing some of our personal struggles with each other. Thank you for trusting me with your heart and allowing me to pray with and for you. You are such a servant. It seems you are always looking for ways to serve others. I was blessed in such a huge way by you offering to take care of Avery Kate once a week. You make a conscious effort to be like Christ in your service of others and I really appreciate that about you! I love you! Your sister, Molly

Friends are relatives you make for yourself. | If friends were flowers, I'd pick you! | Friends are like bras:; close to your heart and there for support. | A friend can tell you things you don't want to tell yourself. | Pink is my signature color.

What? HUH? | Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 | For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. | Just walk beside me and be my friend | We are like Peas and carrots
