S: Merry Christmas 2009
FC: A Sachs Family Christmas Story
 A Christmas To Remember...
 Excitement in the Sweetest Things...
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
With wonder in our hearts, we Deck the Halls... With Lots of Jolly!
Enjoying the Nativity Story, chocolate calendars, and a visit from Nikolaus!
One of my favorite things about Christmas is enjoying special traditions from year to year that prepare my heart to experience the full joy of the season! I hope we have been successful in passing on these special memories to our three precious girls. We started a homemade ornament tradition this year in which we color simple, cardstock ornaments and write Bible verses on the back. We read one each day and talk about it's meaning. What a wonderful gift to share the gospel with the girls, and hear how they have internalized the message of love! Also in continuation of seeing a play each year as a birthday gift to Alyssa, we went to the Nutcracker in the Castle at the Paine Arts Center and Gardens. What an experience! I cannot even put into words the splendor of the castle and the fun we had. My cup runneth over, we are truly blessed!
Bethlehem Marketplace. We signed in for the census, received our shekels, and searched for treasures of old. All on our way to witness the true miracle of Christmas ~ Jesus' Birth!
 Christmas in Bethlehem ...
Grandpa and his littlest girl, Rebekah.
 The Best Christmas Present Ever!
These three girls are amazing. The Christmas musical at church was called The Best Christmas Present Ever, and it was such a wonderful show. It was funny and sweet with a great message from the kids about making room in your heart for Jesus and connecting in a meaningful way to the people God has placed in your everyday life so that they can know Him, through you! It was a gift that warmed my heart. We could not have been more proud of the girls. Kamele waved her heart out from her spot on the stage, and sang the most perfect little chorus of ooooohs I have ever heard. Kahiwa, for the first time ever in Kid's Choir sang the sweetest solo, the song flowed from her innocent love and faith, and was just amazing and precious. As always, Ka'iulani entertained with a pure confidence and belief in the message. Her love for performing grows, and she seems at home on stage. We love you so much girls, and you have made Christmas more memorable and special for us with each passing year.
The girls performed the Christmas Story in the living room. While their animals and baby may not have been real, the love in their hearts was evident! Aside from Rebekah wanting to rename Baby Jesus as Ariel, their scripture references were accurate beyond their young years. Our living room overflowed with Good News of Great Joy for ALL People!
 Christmas in the Castle...
Merry Christmas to ALL! Rejoice! A King is Born!
