FC: Merry Christmas Baby! | Mitchell Jason Caldwell

1: We've Only Just Begun... | To My Son Mitchell Jason Caldwell May your days be merry and bright Always remember and never forget; How very much I Love You... I believe in You! Always, Mom

2: Luke 2 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. *7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

3: 10 And the angel said unto them, fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men.

6: "And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, How could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." ~ Dr. Seuss

35: The Legend of the Candy Cane So old as a symbol of Christmas is the familiar candy cane, that many have forgotten its origin. The shape, like that of the shepherd's staff symbolizes guidance and protection of the good Shepherd. Its color red symbolizes atoning sacrifice and the color white symbolizes purity. The broad red stripes symbolize the supreme sacrifice of the Saviour. The smaller, thinner stripes symbolize the smaller sacrifices one makes as a Christian. The distinct odor is much like that of a biblical herb, "hyssop", which was used for medicinal purposes, symbolizes healing. By His stripes we are healed.

51: Christmas Messages From Daranda Good living comes by living in the Spirit of Christmas every day. Give praise and prayer to the Almighty God. Respect yourself as well as others. Love one another and be kind to one another. Do good deeds and don't sweat the small stuff ~ human life is too short. Forgiveness is essential, we are not perfect. Stop and think! You own your freedom so, take time to make good choices. Talk to one another and keep peace. Reflect at the end of each day. Inner peace can be found through reflection. Keep life simple and within your means. Save money because unexpected issues do arise! Avoid unnecessary stresses. Create good habits and break old ones. Set goals and work to achieve them. Take no one or anything for granted. Expect the unexpected. Work hard and play hard and always give your best. Look forward to each day and learn something new, no matter how small it may be. Be aware of what's around you at all times. Be thankful and grateful for what you have and don't forget who you are! May you live a happy and fulfilling life. I believe in you and I will always love you. Live life lovingly! Merry Christmas ~ And to All a Good Night. Daranda Marie
