BC: A Good Beginning Makes a Good Ending
FC: a year in | the pursuit of truth.... of ALEXANDER THE GREAT | Ashley Brown 7th period
1: Alexander's father was known as Phillip II of Macedon and was the first leader to unite Greece under one rule. He used advanced military techniques including the Phalainx to gain influence over much of Greece. Unfortunately, he was assassinated by one of his own body guards. | Alexander's mother was Olympias of Epirus. She was determined to make him strong enough and smart enough to rise to power. She hired the best tutor and sent him to military school. She wanted to make sure that Alexander took his place in the thrown even though he was the youngest boy in the family.
2: Alexander was taught by Aristotle from age seven to fourteen. Aristotle taught him everything he knew. He was the smartest of all, taught by Plato.
3: Alexander stayed in the military from age 14-17. He used the military to take his rightful place in thrown. Alexander eventually conquered all of the highlighted area in the map above.
5: Alexander came to have a very good relationship with his best friend from childhood, Hapaestion. Alexander and Hapaestion always stuck together, but unfortunately, he was killed in fight.
6: Alexander used his excellent military techniques to conquer Persia. He completely wiped out the whole place!and added Persia to his massive empire.
8: EGG | When he showed up to India, these massive animals were armed and decorated. He never saw anything like it before. He didn't know how to defeat them, but his military and him tried their best and ended up adding India to the empire.

11: Alexander used a unique form of military technique that was used by Greece in the Persian wars. The front row shot arrows forward, the middle shot arrows around a 45 degree angle, and the back row shot arrows almost straight in the air.
12: T | Alexander built libraries and establish cities all over the Mediterranean that represented his name in some way such as Alexandria in Egypt!!!
13: It's the little moments that make life big.
14: day | Positive Consequences | *Alexander expanded his Father's empire to a great extent. *He added many libraries that were known to be extremely impressive. *He established cities all over the Mediterranean.
15: Negative Consequences | *Alexander died before he was able to finish planning for another war.
17: Friends may come and go but family is a forever bond.
18: A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken.
