Dedication I dedicate the following book to my father, who without I would have had a very hard time getting by so far.
Setting The story of my life takes place mostly in the small quaint town of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. It is a very quite town full of close knit people. We all know each other and see each other everyday. Although it is fairly strange, most close-knit towns are surrounded by mountains while Camp Hill is only minutes from the capitol of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
Internal Conflict No story would be complete without some form of internal conflict, and mine is no exception. All my misadventures have caused me to question my intentions and make a choice. One notable example is when my friends and i decided go to Negley Park. Now Negley Park is about a mile and a half away from Camp Hill. It overlooks the Susquehanna River and is close to the capitol. The entire trip there I was deciding whether or not to tell my parents. This internal conflict was quite a figh until i decided to tell. My parents were actually thrilled with the idea that we had found something else to do rather than going to the pool and just riding around. Well, that conflict ended rather nicely, unlike certain others that would come to pass.
External Conflict External conflict sure is a big part of my life. Just take the time my friends and I were so bored last summer that we decided to throw water balloons at passing cars (I know it wasn't the greatest of ideas, but don't lecture me!). Anyways we never took into account that maybe the car windows were open. So of course the worst happens, my one friend throws a water balloon at this nice silver Chevy passing by. Somehow the water balloon must have either flown through one window and out the other, exploded inside the car, or popped on the windshield. But it doesn't really matter what happened because the driver was MAD. He screeched his car to a halt and came storming over to us. After that, well lets just say one of us wasn't allowed out for a week. But in the end it does make for a pretty interesting story.
Round Character There are several people in my life that are round characters. The most notable of these however is my best friend Andrew Freedenberg. In kindergarten, well he didn't like me very much. For whatever reason, our moms set us up for a play date. After that we liked each other and asked our moms to set up more. And so started a friendship that is still standing today. Over the years we have learned many things about each other, both good an bad. But i think that no matter where life takes us we will always be friends.
Flat Character My father is the most important flat character n my life at the moment. He is always there for me and is full of useful advice to help me get through life. There were times when I disliked him for whatever reason, but that doesn't change the fact that my dad has been a steadfast and supportive person throughout. Take for example my sixth grade science project. I did the entire thing by myself, set it out in my room once it was finished, and got ready for bed. Just then my dad came in and starting reading over it. Turns out i had quite a few typos, and is he wouldn't have seen them i would have failed the science project. Dad really saved me that time, and his advice will continue to help me.
Climax The climax o my life so far would probably be the summer of 2011. I did so many things, met so many people, and went many new places. All these stories would take many more pages to fill, so I have decided to tell my favorite. It was near the end of the summer when this takes place so didn't have any other obligations the entire day. The day starts out with xbox in the morning, progresses to ultimate Frisbee at 1, moves on to ball tag around the Methodist Church, and ends with street hockey and a trip to CVS. That is actually how most of my summer days went, but this one was different. There was no fighting. Usually, there is always fights and disagreements among my friends over stupid things. They usually end with the group choosing sides and splitting up. But not then. It was just day of a couple of kids having the most fun possible.
