FC: Geli Raubal (Hitler's niece) Wall of Shame
Angelika (Geli) Maria Raubal was the daughter of Leo and Angela Raubal. She was born June 4th 1908 and died on september 18th 1931 (age 23) of suicide. She was known for being the half niece of the famous Adolf Hitler.
Geli was 17 when she first really met her half uncle Adolf Hitler. Her mother was offered a spot as his house keeper so Geli and her mother moved into Hitler's Munich apartment in1929 when she enrolled in medicine . She did not complete her medical studies. Geli and Hitler became very very close. Geli was always jealous because she thought her uncle did not give her enough attention.
As Hitler rose to power of the Nazi Party he kept a tight rein over Geli and became possessive of her. When he found out she was having a relationship with Emil Maurice, he forced them to stop seeing each other.
After Hitler found out about Geli and Emil he fired Emil from being his chauffeur and did not allow Geli to go anywhere without him or someone he trusted.
Hitler was in "love" with two women. Eva Bruan (right) and Geli (left) they were both his mistresses.
Hitler became too controlling and possessive of Geli and she hated it. Glei tried to escape from HItler but she was too afraid.
Hitler began to hit Geli and she would have bruises from him. She was in so much pain but she loved Hitler and thought he was doing it because he loved her.
After a while the love Geli had for HItler was slowly starting to fade. But she liked all the fame she had gotten and didn't was to ruin the relationship with Hitler.
Geli became very unhappy and wanted to get away from him (finally) but she didnt know how so she killed herself one day when Hitler was not home with his pistol in his bedroom. SOme people believe that Hitler shot her. Geli Raubal died at age 23. There were rumors that she was pregnant. | Room where she was found dead | Hitler's pistol she used
When Hitler found out she was dead he was devastated. He even threatened to take his own life and claimed that Geli was the only women he ever loved or cared about. | Not a real photo.
Geli is buried in Zentralfriedhof, Vienna in a garden. Her gravestone has been destroyed...
I believe Geli was in the wall of fame, and the wall of shame. I believe she should be on the wall of shame because she didn't try to stop Hitler from doing bad things to people, he might have taken some consideration of listening to her . I also believe she should be in the wall of fame as well because she did try to get away from him.
