4: The Jews Behind the Bookcase
6: Life as a Jew was hard during World War Two. Over 6 million Jews were killed. Including everyone hiding behind the bookcase, except for Otto Frank. In 1945, nine months after Anne Frank was sent to a concentration camp, Anne died of typhus. Her diary was saved and published by Miep Gies in 1947. Anne wrote in her diary how she never wanted to be forgotten. She never will. Nor will the other 6 million Jews, killed in the Holocaust.
