FC: Florida & Western Caribbean Cruise

1: On February 16th, Richard and Lacey dropped Gavin off at Wally and Margaret Tenbrinke's house. We then drove to Seattle and stayed at a hotel over night. We then flew out of Seattle the next morning and landed in Florida that night. There, Russ, Judi and Brandon Buit met us when our flight landed. The taxi brought us to our hotel and that was where we waited for Ken and Sally Weenink, along with Matt, Chelsea, and Jill. We stayed in Florida for a few days before leaving for our Caribbean Cruise for a week. This trip was a celebration of Ken and Sally's 25th Wedding Anniversary and it was great to be apart of it and help celebrate. | Florida & Western Caribbean Cruise

2: February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Orlando, Florida | Packing all of our luggage-1 We drove to Seattle the night before to catch our flight early the next morning. We got to enjoy a nice meal at IHOP before heading to bed-2 Russ always wanted to have his name written on a sign at the airport so here it is. We had to hurry since Tony had to bring us to our hotel and go back and pick Ken&Sally's family up-3 Westgate Village was where we will be spending the next 3 nights. It was beautiful with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms-4 We were so hungry when we got back but everything was closed except for Pizza so we got a Taxi out to the gate and picked up our pizza! It was so good-5 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 4 | 5

3: February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | SeaWorld | The pond at our villa was beautiful! If we were owners we could have kayaked on the pond but we didn't have time-1 All the cool birds at the pond-2&3 Tony soon became our driver. He was awesome. He would pick us all up and bring us wherever we needed to go. He even gave us helpful hints on what time to go there-4 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

4: Everyones got to take a classic family picture with a whale! Here's our family and Ken&Sally's-1,2 Us at the Penguin Encounter-3,4 Rich feeding birds at the Sea lion Pacific Point Reserve-5,6,7 SeaWorld Orlando Park Map-8 This is the first thing you see when you walk into SeaWorld-9 Flamingo Park and the bushes shaped like a Dolphin-10,11 Watching the Stingray at the Stingray Lagoon-12,13 Jill and the Dolphin-14 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 8 | 9

6: We watched the 'Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island' show with the Sea Lions-1,2 Then we got to see the 'Blue Horizon' show with dolphins, false killer whales, tropical birds and acrobats-3,4,5 Russ and Judi walking through SeaWorld-6 And then we got to watch the Killer Whales show called 'Believe'. It was absolutely amazing-7,8,9 Rich and I watching the Whale show-10 | 1 | 2 | 6 | 3 | 4 | 5

8: Going through the Wild Arctic Exhibit-1 Russ, Judi and Jill peaking at the penguins-2 Rich seeing how much he weighs compared to a polar bear, whale, or walrus-3 Everyone on the Kraken Floorless Roller Coaster ride-4 By the time we got back it was too late for supper, so we walked for what felt like forever, to a seafood restaurant that was amazing-5,6 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

9: Chelsea&Matt making breakfast-1 Russ&Sally eating breakfast outside-2 Mardi Gras sign and Universal Symbol-3,4 Hard Rock Cafe for lunch-5 Men In Black ride-6 The inside of the Twister ride. 10: Rich, Lacey, Jill&Chelsea getting scared by the mummy-1,2 Rich, Brandon, Matt, Russ on the Rockit-3 Everyone stopping for a shade/water break. It was a warm day out-4 This was the old city part by the water-5 Rich, Brandon&Matt seemed to always be dressing the same-6 Rich&Lacey with 'I love Lucy'-7 Rich winning Lacey a whale for hitting the hardest-8 Mel's Drive-in was where we ate lunch before Marti Gras started-9 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

12: Eating lunch at Mel's Drive-in-1 Standing in line to watch Shrek 4D. It was amazing and worth the wait. You smelt, felt, and heard everything that was going on-2 The guys standing by an old car-3 Jill finally got her Churo. She had never had one and was quite excited about this experience-4 We had so many Mardi Gras beads so we gave most of ours to Tony. He said his wife loved them since she didn't get to go because Tony was driving us-5 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5

14: 1 | The girls figured they might as well start running since we were going to eat so much crap food-8 Us all enjoying our first drink on the ship. Let to FUN begin-9 Our entertainment was a couple who did hoop, a comedian, and we got to meet our host -10,11,12 Our first menu. Man cruise food is amazing-13 The first party down the promenade-14 The moon look amazing that night-15 | February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Port Canaveral | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | We had to take ONE group picture with Tony before he brought us to the ship. He was such an amazing driver. He even brought us to the liquor store and grocery shopping-1 This was the outside of our building & the van that Tony drove-2,3 Waiting at the shipyard to get our luggage hulled away. We had allot of luggage-4,5 The greeting ice sculpture and carved fruit-6 How small everything looks from the top of the ship-7

16: Brandon, Matt&Rich participated in the basketball tournament-1,2 We also watched the biggest cannon ball splash competition-3 Brandon tried out the rock climbing wall-4 Russ&Judi got to enjoy the hot tub while eating an amazing soft ice cream cone-5 Rich&Lacey getting ready for our first formal night-6,7 Lacey&Judi at the formal dinner-8 | February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Cruising the Sea | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 1

17: This was our first formal night. And we also got to celebrate Ken&Sally's 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was an amazing night! | 1st Formal Night

23: Went on a 'Haitian Cultural Tour at Paradise Cove and Beach Break' tour, Got to spend time on the beach-1,2,3,4 We all built a Mermaid with Rich's body-5 Lacey, Jill, and Chelsea enjoying the water-6 Enjoying the island, a nice picture of Rich and Lacey, and also enjoying the Rum Punch with the waiter-7,8,9 The boat ride to the island-10 | 10 | 9 | 7 | 8 | 6

24: The Taking Off Of Jill's Cast | Jill broke her arm from snowboarding and it was supposed to come off the same time we were on the cruise, but the doctors wouldn't take it off early. After asking the ship doctor, they told her she had to pay $200. Therefore, we all took the challenge to help pry it off! And we did it! Jill because cast free just in time to start suntanning her white arm.

25: Enjoying the sunshine during a smoke break-1 'Dancing on the Street' down the Promenade. What a blast-2.3,4 Jill, Lacey&Chelsea taking shots after supper-5 The evening entertain was dancing-6 The girls looking pretty-7 Jill, Judi&Lacey-8 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

26: In Jamaica, we did the Dunn's River Falls and Dolphin's Cove Tour. We took a bus to the Dunn's River Falls and got started by getting our water shoes. We then walked to the bottom of the falls and began climbing the 600 feet of cool waters. This would definitely not be approved in Canada. There was 100's of people climbing all at once. It was crazy! Only in Jamaica!! Judi didn't want to go, so she nicely took pictures for us. Which was great because we bought a disk and they never gave it to us! | February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Falmouth, Jamaica

28: After Dunn's River Falls, we all took an hour bus ride out to Dolphin's Cove! There we got free lunch, and got free use of the beach. Unfortunately we had to pay to do anything with the animals, which we didn't know at first. But we did swim with the stingray!

29: We were one of the first ships to stop at Foulmouth, Jamaica so the town was very excited that we were there. Everyone had to be very careful still since the security wasn't up to par yet. But the amount of people waiting for us to get on and off was crazy! Everyone wanted to get in on the excitement.

30: Waving good bye to Jamaica. We even got to watch the sunset-1,2,3,4 Brandon trying to wake rider and bailing huge-5,6 We finally got tickets for the last showing of the ice show, The had a small rink in the back of the boat. It was an amazing show-7-13 This boy dancing at dinner-14 The servers put on a show for all of us, The did such a phenomenal job. It's amazing to see them all come together-15 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

33: Brandon and Matt thought it would be funny if they changed Russ and Judi's breakfast card. They ended up getting 2 carts full like picture 1 with this (picture 3) on each plate. We ate 2 plates worth between us all-1,2,3 We hung out on 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman and ate lunch-4,5,6,7,8 Lacey taking pictures-9 Ken and Sally brought Snorkeling Gear along so we even got to snorkel. The water was so clear-10,11,12 Jill. Chelsea, and Lacey-13 Taking the boat back to the ship-14,15 | 9 | 10 | 14 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 15

36: February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Cozumel, Mexico | The one thing the Jill, Chelsea, and Lacey wanted to do was swim with the dolphins, so in Cozumel it happened. It was amazing. They got to kiss, shake fins, and get pushed by a dolphin. They even got to be in the water with sharks and got to touch a Mantes. Everyone else went shopping and then we met them at Senior Frogs for lunch.

40: This was our ship parked next to another ship. They sure are tall ships compared to the people-1 All our patio's were connected so we could always visit each other-2 Jill passed out after Senior Frogs-3 Judi and Sally wearing the same shirt accidentally-4 Our entertainment for the night was a comedian. He was so funny-5 At night we watching one of the games. We wanted to participate, but since this ship was so big, there was allot of people already there so we watched instead-6 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 14 | 13 | 15

41: Having a good lunch in the cafeteria-1 The balcony of the ship was always packed with people suntanning, plus it was usually windy. So this is one of the only times we sat upstairs-2 Looking for sea animals with binoculars-3 MMM ... There is nothing better than a frozen drink-4 Brandon and Matt got a notice for drinking. One more time getting got and they were OFF the ship-5 Hanging out (Brandon, Chelsea, Matt, Jill. Rich and Lacey)-6 | February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Cruising the Sea | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 11 | 12 | 1

42: In the Promenade, they had the ice sculptures, napkin folders, and chefs showing of their talents. We also got samples-left Judi kept asking the waiter for a kitchen tour so we finally got one. Except in the end, we got a kitchen tour with two 'Make a Wish Foundation' families. But it was still amazing to see how big the kitchen was and where everything happens. We only toured the main kitchen-right

44: Johnny Rockets was a diner on the ship you could go to whenever, but you had to pay $5.00 and then you could order anything, except the milkshakes. So we actually only ate here once. But it was worth it-1,2,3,4,5 Jill and Chelsea's room (messy)-6 Last dinner of the cruise-7,8,9,10 Our Waiter with Ken, Brandon, Russ-11 Our assistant Waiter with Sally and Jill-12 Our last show! It was circus themed and absolutely amazing-13,14 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

46: February 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 | Off Ship & Fly Home | Since we all left different times, and most were in the late afternoon, we got a hotel room for the day to put our stuff and hung out by the pool. It was so hot in Florida. Rich and Lacey flew to Seattle and had to drive 3 hours back home. By the time they got home, they didn't realize that Lacey had turned off the heat. Well it was 8.5 degrees in the house. It was so cold. Luckily they weren't picking Gavin up till the next morning since it was way to late already.
