6: We got tickets to the Chicago crosstown rivalry series: White Sox vs Cubs Wrigley Field was built in 1914 and is the second oldest major league ballpark.

10: We spent the morning exploring a huge free zoo just north of downtown

14: out on the ledge | The Willis Tower | Previously named the Sears Tower, the third tallest building in the world gave us a view of fifty miles and four states at sunset from 1,353 feet high.
15: During the summer, fireworks are set off every Wednesday and Saturday night. It draws quite a crowd of tourists and locals. | We had dinner at Billy Goat Tavern, made famous by the SNL skit | Navy Pier

29: One of the best exhibits was SUE, the world's largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex ever discovered. We also enjoyed the Evolving Planet, Hall of Gems and The Ancient Americas
