2: Mesopotamia | Sumeria and Babylon were cities who were always at war in Mesopotamia. Mesopotamians used cuneiform in their writing for. Mesopotamians used plowing to make farming easier for their crops. Mesopotamia is a land between two rivers; Tigres and Euphrates./ The Mesopotamian religion did not believe in the after-life. Mesopotamians used Hammurabis code; The 282 laws (eye for an eye)

3: Mesopotamia is located in present-day Iraq.\ In Mesopotamia, slaves were controlled by higher ranked authorities. Women in ancient Mesopotamia were not equal to men, but they did have rights. Mesopotamians did glass making, irrigation, and metal working.

4: Indus | Indus had monsoons; seasonal winds that brought rain and dry air. The Indus river flows southwest from the Himilayas to the Arabian sea. In Indus, religious artifacts revealed links to modern hindu culture. People in Indus used the grid system like we use the metric system in the United States. People in Indus used harrapan language and writing, but it was difficult to decipher.

5: The Indus Valley civilization is sometimes called the Harappan Civilization because of the many archaeological discoveries made in the site. Indus had advanced plumbing and sewage systems for cleanliness in the country. People in Indus made various sculptures, seals, pottery, and gold jewelery.

6: Egypt | Egypt is based around the nile river and it's way to trade and transport people. Pharaohs rule as kings; they are seen as gods also. Egyptians used hieroglyphics as a way of writing. The Nile River provides silt by its runoff. Egyptians believed in the mummification process. Egyptians had the first known wine sellers.

7: Egyptians used ziggurats to bury dead bodies, Egyptians believed in more than one god; they're polytheistic. Egyptians used the Nile river and red sea as trade and transportation. Deserts on both sides of the Nile River gave Egyptians an obstacle not to interact with other civilizations.

8: China | In China, the social classes were often from Kings to lords, lords to knights, and last were serfs. The Chinese believed that the spirits of family ancestors had the power to bring good fortune to living family members. The Chinese method of writing included one syllable units of writing. In China, roads and canals were built to stimulate trade and agriculture. The earliest evidence of Chinese writing was seen on oracle bones.

9: China is located between yellow river, known as Huang He and the Yangtze river. The first Chinese family of rulers that left written records of the past were The Shang Dynasty. During the Qin Dynasty the Great Wall of China was built. China is the oldest continuous major world civilization, with records dating back about 3,500 years. China's highest body is the Party Congress, which traditionally meets at least once every 5 years.
