1: What are the causes of an eating disorder? Most of the causes are because some teen are unhappy with their self image. Also the media puts so much pressure on young girls to look a type of way. Particularly, teens are concerned about how they look and can feel self conscious about their bodies. This can be especially true when they are going through puberty, and undergo dramatic physical changes and face new social pressures. Unfortunately for a growing proportion of kids and teens, that concern can grow into an obsession that can become an eating disorder. Society need to see how they are pressuring all these young girls in the world to today.
2: Eating disorders are so common in America that 1or 2 out of every 100 students will struggle with one. Each year, thousands of teen develop eating disorders, or problems with weight, eating, or body image. Eating disorders are more than just going on a diet to lose weight or trying to exercise every day. They’re extremes in eating behavior, the diet that never ends and gradually gets more restrictive, for example. Or the person who can’t go out with friends because he or she thinks it’s more important to go running to work off a snack eaten earlier. Many kids particularly teens are concerned about how they look and can feel self conscious about their bodies. This can be especially true when they are going through puberty, and undergo dramatic physical chances and face new social pressures.
3: The most common eating disorders for teen are, Anorexia most commonly found in girls. Bulimia will eat a large meal and then self purge everything they consumed before they have had a chance to absorb the calories. Binge eating some overweight teens (And Indeed, Many who are not overweight) will engage in binge eating. Anorexia and Bulimia are the most real common ones in the world today.

5: so many teen in the world have problems with eating disorders because alot of teens have stress or have problems eating.
6: Eating disorders have long been a serious problem among people of all ages. However, this disease usually begins somewhere in the pre-teen stages of life, and although many adolescent boys suffer with this disorder, it usually affects and is much more severe in teenage girls. People who do suffer from an eating disorder like to place blame on factors such as television and family life-styles. Although these situations do influence eating disorders, the basis for this disease lies within the person whom it is affecting
7: In the United States, as many as 10 in 100 young women suffer from an eating disorder. Overeating related to tension, poor nutritional habits and food fads are relatively common eating problems for youngsters. In addition, two psychiatric eating disorders, anorexia nervosa and bulimia, are on the increase among teenage girls and young women and often run in families.These two eating disorders also occur in boys, but less often.
8: Generally, eating disorders involve self-critical, negative thoughts and feelings about body weight and food, and eating habits that disrupt normal body function and daily activities
9: Teenagers are under a lot of pressure to succeed and fit in. Many spend a lot of time worrying about what others think and they desperately try to conform to society's unattainable "ideal" body image. They are lead to believe that if they are thin, they will be accepted. Since many teenagers are constantly buying teen or fashion magazines, the images of emaciated models appearing in those magazines only reinforces their belief that in order to be happy, successful and accepted, they must be thin.
10: " | Eating disorders are so commen among teens aspecialy young women. Our society is obsessed with the “perfect” body for both men and women. The media promotes unrealistic body models and we are bombarded with it on a daily basis via television, magazines and the silver screen
